In the life and death halls, there was a grand door that had the darkness of and greenness of life intertwined together the two sect masters places both their hands on their respective part of their door and it opened majestically and they both walked in.
The room was surprisingly small for such a grand entrance and in the room, there was an old man sitting on the center of where life and death intertwined giving birth to a mysterious feeling, a feeling of balance. Life and death are to nature as if they are not in harmony with each other but they create a balance in the universe. Life without death is emptiness and death without life is meaningless.
The two hall masters where shock as they could feel the perfect pure Life-Death laws in the air they became instantly shocked and they quickly bowed towards the grand elder before them. The grand elder opened his eyes as he swept his eyes at the sect masters "Why have you visited me?" The two sect master looked back up at the grand elder and said "We have a problem in the sect, rumors have leaked of the life and death scythe being in our halls and it was a servant that initially spread info to other servants and it left the confines of the hall."
The grand elder sope again "It seems that there is going to be talks of an alliance soon between the clans and sects to split the rewards among the top patriarchs and elders, come here I knew that this will happen somewhere follow me."
The sect master nodded to themselves as they follow the grand elder down the stairs as and the strength of the Life-Death laws kept increasing as they went down. The grant elder smiled as he said "As we go down let me tell you a short story of the founder of these halls."
"Zhang Yuan was a powerful man that not only has the strength of the early of the supreme divine emperor stage but also the pure stage of bot Life-Death laws making him the one of the strongest of his time> He was also very ambition as one time he said that he shall rule all of the heavens one day.
"That day did not come however as he disappeared and even until now I have never found him again, at the time he had three disciples and I was one of them but before he left, he left behind his most important treasure to me and said some words that he said to me but I shall now pass on to you."
"He said that I wish to rule the heavens but I do not have that ability and I hope you can pass on my treasure to someone that can finish my dreams for but that day I might not see, my will can pass on through yours so don't look for me because I am already gone."
The two sect masters where shocked was he really going to pass on the Life-Death scythe to the two of them. They all stopped before and the black and green door before the grand elder put his hand on the door and it opened to the door and they saw the thing that while they might have guessed was there they could have not expected that it actually was there.
