Chapter 125: The Former Assassin's date
A beautiful and peaceful morning was coming to Eleonora's house right now. Everyone had already been in the kitchen; some sat on the chairs while others prepared to make today's breakfast. Nothing strange or weird happened; it just went like every morning since the disappearance of Vertexes, Shinju, and Heroes that used to be the critical factors of this world. All thanks to Eleonora Pendragon, who ended the war between Vertex and humanity, which lasted for a hundred years.
That's why the previous honest and sincere followers of Shinju began to worship Eleonora despite not knowing who she was, and her statue appearance almost looked like Eleonora's actual appearance. Since she was not a goddess yet, the young bluenette couldn't grant her followers wishes or anything; she couldn't read their minds either to know what they wanted unless Eleonora did it by using her own magic.
'I hope someone noticed how similar I am to that goddess statue and re-made it so they won't be mistaken again. I know that I can do that myself, but that felt like… arrogant, If I say. Maybe I should talk of this with either Sonoko or Sumi.'
"Nora, what're you thinking of?"
Eleonora's eyes blinked as she heard her name being called, and she noticed Sonoko interrupted her thought. The young bluenette slightly huffed with a small smile and shook her head in response to the dirty blonde-haired girl with a curious and concerned expression on her face.
"Just some trivial matters, Sonoko. It's nothing big or serious, so don't be worried or something."
Sonoko frowned and pouted at Eleonora's answer as she didn't like that Eleonora brushed it off. That's why, to confirm it, she asked her bluenette lover for one more time. She wants to ensure that Eleonora won't do anything that makes her or others worried too much.
"…really, Nora? Are you sure about that?"
"I'm sure, and whatever is on my mind can wait until you and Sumi have Summer Vacation. I do plan something for everyone."
"Noracchi, you don't think it was…."
"Yeah, that. You guessed it right, Sumi."
Eleonora nodded at Sumi's correct guess and made both Sumi and Sonoko gasp in realization, leaving Gin confused for a while. She didn't know what they talked about before looking straight at them and asking what was happening.
"Hey, Eleonora, what are you talking about with Sumi and Sonoko?"
What Gin asked piqued the interest of other girls, including Erza as well. Their attention shifted to Eleonora, but the ones in the kitchen were trying to focus on handling their own matters. Things will go bad if they somehow make a mess when cooking.
Seeing the eyes of some gathered to Eleonora, the young bluenette then answered Gin's question.
"It's about saving the past heroes of this world. I plan to go when Sumi and Sonoko's Summer Vacation begins. Of course, if anyone didn't want it, just say so since some of you might have another business that may be important in your own world."
Gin nodded as she already understood that.
"Ah, I see. A month may be enough time, considering you solve this problem so fast."
"Count me in, Noura! I want to join it too, and we can speedrun it together!"
"Considering Nora-kun, we may only need a week or so to solve the problem."
Eleonora laughed with a sweatdrop when Kurumi said it with confidence as if with no hesitation and believed that Eleonora would complete the mission she had from the chat group owner that fasts. The others are also convinced and agree with a chorus of nods.
"That's true since Eleonora is powerful and stronger than us. She even solved the problem we had when we were in Tortus. Right, Mao?"
"I agree with Aya-chan. Eleonora is truly doing a speedrun when in Tortus and this world as well, so I think that will be a piece of cake for her."

Akame and Erza nodded in affirmation of Esdeath's statement. "But that will be interesting to go to the past, Leo-kun! Going to another world is already amazing, but to the past?! That would be wonderful! Even Onee-sama's invention couldn't do a thing like that."
"Maybe Nora-kun can help you with that later, Momo-san. After all, we can build a machine that allows us to travel to another world."

"Then, I'm fine to assume that all of you will really want to come with me?"
Eleonora looked at the girls in turn before earning a chorus of nods from them with smiles and determined faces. The young bluenette was only snorted and smiled at the response and reactions she got from them. She shook her head before Gin said something.
"I mean, isn't it natural as lovers and friends that we will help you in this, Eleonora?"
"Mino-san is right, Nora! And this also matters very important to me. Even to this world!"
"What Gin and Sonocchi said is true, Noracchi. Like it or not, we're going, and everyone is here too. If not, then what purpose did our training have so far? Despite the short time, our strength increased tremendously. There may be unknown factors that might hinder us, but we're prepared for that."

Hearing this, Akame interrupted the former General and looked at Esdeath, slightly confused.
"What do you mean? Don't you have Jeager on your side? I don't think you're that lone wolf. Moreover, the army of the Empire you lead. I mean, you're a General, after all."
"That's partially true, but I mostly head-on the battle alone and preferably like that. If I had people fight alongside me, it would hinder me or make me worried about their conditions. I cannot allow such a thing on my mind. I cannot be distracted by thinking of that."
"That seems cruel yet necessary, especially when in the middle of battle or war."
Esdeath simply smiled and gave a subtle nod to Akame, grateful that her rival-in-battle understood the meaning of what she said. Although they were enemies in the past, they tried not to stay the same since Esdeath and Akame dated the same person and became her lovers.
There might be some hatred or feeling that they weren't completely forgiven each other, but they also want to befriend each other.
"Indeed. Surprisingly, you're agreed with that, but I did not hate it. The past must stay in the past, focusing on the current or future. Even though Eleonora could use her ability to time travel, I don't want to change it."
Before Akame was about to respond to her, the people from the kitchen called them to quickly have breakfast. Hearing that made everyone, including Akame, that seemed zoned off a bit, react and immediately have breakfast with everyone.
Eleonora noticed that and pondered about Akame.
'So Akame still wants to change her past, huh. I don't mind it, but… the hesitancy she showed made me confused. Maybe I should talk about that with her later or next time.'

Today is the weekend, so Sonoko and Sumi don't have to go to school, that's why they stayed at Eleonora's house or, more accurately, their house since they will marry and live together with Eleonora in the future. Both girls also already told their parents that they would visit them occasionally.

"…Yeah. I know we shouldn't think of it like that, but that still concerns me. If I'm not real, what is the point of my sacrifices as a hero? Is it all useless efforts?"
Seeing her lover's saddened and unsure face, Eleonora then hummed a bit as she got an idea to comfort her before answering Gin's questions.
"Gin, I may only know you through the book, but you're here with me is the proof that you're real. As for you're from a fictional story, we are kind of the same since my family history is fictional too, like you. Real or illusion is not matter. The important thing is the evidence. The fact that you genuinely exist here, not only as imaginary characters."
Gin, silent for a moment, carefully listening to her lover's words, took it seriously within her. The doubt lingering inside her slowly reduces, fading by Eleonora's honest and sincere words. She understood this feeling, which is comfortable and warm; it's the feeling she liked about Eleonora.
"And so, what I mean is that. You don't have to worry if you're fictional or not, as long as you can exist, either within people's hearts or genuinely real. Moreover, it means that the multiverse theory is real. A vast sea of the universe that exists beyond one universe. There might be another you exist out there, but you are someone I know and my lovely lover right now."
A sudden blush appears on Gin's cheeks when Eleonora says the last part, causing the grey-haired girl to suddenly be embarrassed yet happy at that words. The young bluenette simply chuckled at the adorableness of her grey-haired lover when she reacted like that.
"E-Eleonora… you, this…. I'm not cute or anything, you know."
Gin says it shyly while twirling her fingers, looking down with an embarrassed face and cheeks, causing Eleonora to laugh even more.
"No way. You're cute and make me want to protect you even more."
"Geez… Eleonora…"
While Gin acts bashful when Eleonora teases her, the grey-haired girl also laughs and smiles happily when her bluenette lover does that, so both laugh together since Eleonora thinks that her grey-haired lover does seem in a good mood and cheerful again.

Right now, after Eleonora is done comforting Gin, she tries to look for another one who seems to need to have a talk with her. She noticed Akame, the black-haired former assassin of Night Raid, who appears to have trouble in her mind about traveling the whole time even though she agrees with it. However, it's not like Akame dislikes or rejects the group's idea of time traveling, but she is just… a bit stuck in the past again.
'I just hope Gin doesn't have that kind of thought anymore. It surprised me when she thought about it, and it looks like not everyone is okay with their existence to be like that. But does that mean, Liese-san and La Folia-san share the same thought about that…? Maybe I could ask them when I returned.'
As Eleonora walked through her house area, she spotted Akame holding a watering can and currently watering some plants in the garden. It is a garden that Eleonora made, and the soil was enhanced to make the vegetables or fruits will ripen ten times faster than they normally should do.
'Although buying ingredients is the norm, I also planned to have this for those who want to do gardening. It benefits us anyway, so I don't see anything wrong with this.'
As she was inspecting the crops, Eleonora then heard her name being called, and it was by Akame smiled at her, giving the bluenette a peck on the cheeks. The young bluenette then does the same at the black-haired girl, giving a peck of a kiss on her cheeks before she says something.
"Akame, doing some gardening, I see."
"Yeah, I have become liking gardening now. It's fun and relaxing. Watching it grow and harvesting them by myself."
Eleonora sweatdrop, but nonetheless, she smiled at Akame.
"That's kind of deep… but I know that feeling. It's like your efforts will be worth and the sense of satisfaction when doing that by yourself."
She scratched her cheeks before coughing and asked Akame to change the topic.
"Anyway, Akame, if you're free and have nothing to do… want to come somewhere alone with me?"
Akame blinked when Eleonora asked her about that. She wondered if it was a date or not, and because of that curiosity, the black-haired assassin then asked the bluenette.
"Is it a date, Eleonora?"
"Yes, a date. How is that? Want to have a date with me for today?"
Eleonora offered Akame, with a hand on her, which was accepted by the black-haired assassin. A kind and beautiful smile on Akame's face when she was about to answer Eleonora's offers. She nodded at her bluenette lover.
"Mhm. I want to have a date with you today, Eleonora."
The young bluenette grinned.
"Great, then let's do it after you're done with this. Do you need my help?"
"Ah. Okay, please help me with this. I need to water all crops to ensure it's not dehydrated."
"Okay, leave it to me."
With that, both Eleonora and Akame then busied themselves with gardening before going on their date later. Although the dirt makes them dirty, it was worth it since the result will bring them something good like high-quality vegetables and fruits when the harvest time is near.

An hour and thirty minutes have passed since Eleonora and Akame took care of the garden. This is maybe the first time Eleonora has been gardening. Because back then, in her homeworld, the gardening staff always does not let their young mistress do something like that. One of many reasons is that the young bluenette is also has a packed schedule, and they're worried for her if she is too overworked.
'But I'm not the same as those naïve and innocent beautiful princesses that don't know anything about outside and only have books to rely on. They're blinded or too innocent, like Emilia. Sometimes it's annoying, but there is no denying that it is cute.'
Eleonora chuckles inwardly while changing her clothes for her date with Akame today. After all, clothes make the woman, from Mark Twain's, and she slightly changed the quotes to fits her, and Eleonora won't dress in silly, everyday outfits like many dense male protagonists of harem anime.
The young bluenette shook her head and sighed in exasperation when reminiscing about those kinds of men who irritate her. She just hopes not to meet that kind of man in the future. Eleonora doesn't want to be short-tempered and accidentally kill them if she is irritated.
After spending several minutes choosing and changing her clothes, Eleonora looked at the mirror again, checking if she looked good and had nothing wrong. A smile appeared on her face when twirling herself and wore the perfect clothes for herself. She nodded with a happy face and smile.
"Alright, this is good. These clothes fit how I looked, and everyone around me called me beautiful and handsome, like a prince. I also don't hate it anyway."
She said shrugged and didn't particularly mind about it. Eleonora already knew that since she would be the "father" and "husband" of her own family in the future with her wives and children. Her being a futanari is also one of the strongest reasons and undeniable truth. This is one of many things she has wanted since she was born, and it makes her happy.
As she left the room, Eleonora was greeted by Akame, who had her clothes also changed to be suited for today's date. The black-haired former assassin of Night Raid wears a light-blue shirt covered by a long-sleeved matching jacket and grey skirt. The clothes really radiated the feminine aura of Akame, who had faint dust of pink on her cheeks since she was not getting used to wearing that kind of outfit.
"Akame, you looked beautiful. That outfit really suits you."
Eleonora complimented Akame, who smiled happily when she heard that.
"Thanks, Eleonora. You even looked gorgeous."
Akame said as she took a good look at Eleonora's outfit. The young bluenette wears a purple vertical-stripped shirt showing her cleavage and purple jeans. There are ribbon belts tied around Eleonora's waist, and the part of her bra is shown. Akame's cheeks gain a visible red color, causing her to blush, seeing how gorgeous Eleonora is.
Eleonora just showed her charming smile on Akame. She then offered a hand to the black-haired girl while saying.
"Thank you for that, Akame. How about we go now?"
Akame smiled and nodded, accepting the offer, and wrapped her arms around Eleonora's while they left the house and told everyone about the date they had today. They all wished good luck and prayed that they had fun with the date, making Eleonora chuckle and nod in understanding.
And when they left, Akame said something.
"Everyone is kind. No one was jealous when we told everyone about our date."
"I think it's a good thing. An excellent and well-handled harem is when the lovers won't compete to win over one affection or feel too much jealousy. They will genuinely believe in the one they love and won't have to worry about being forgotten or such."
"I see… that's really a good harem."
Eleonora nodded and continued.
"Some people might think it's impossible and unrealistic, but that is the truth. I love all of you equally. I don't care what people said about it because that was what I feel."
"That's why many women like and love you, Eleonora. Especially when we meet you. My feelings tell me that you're the one that is destined for me."
"Well, I don't know about that, but I'm glad that you feel it that way, Akame. Even if some of my harems were stolen from someone. The old me might feel guilty, but I think… being selfish is okay for me. Do you think so, Akame?"
Akame nodded without hesitation and leaned her head on Eleonora's arm, comforting her lover and herself too at the same time. She is enjoying this opportunity since Eleonora doesn't mind her doing that.
"Being selfish is not wrong. Sometimes people can't always be selfless; they also need to be selfish. Selflessness also sometimes can be counted as selfishness. I don't think we will hate you if you're like that, Eleonora."
She said it honestly. Her words are only filled with sincerity.
Not only Akame who will think that, but all of Eleonora's lovers will be the same. If they genuinely love the bluenette and accept her, they won't mind and don't care if Eleonora is selfish. Besides, most of Eleonora's lovers that known her for so long would want her to be selfish than always stay selfless.
A small smile appears on Eleonora. She is happy knowing that and lets out a chuckle.
"Then, I guess I won't have to doubt myself again later. I will still be kind and good, but not like my old self. My parents, friends, and lovers back home always told me to be selfish and do whatever I want, enjoying my own life without worrying about something too much."
"What they said is true; you should enjoy life to its fullest. Like me, who given a chance to do it."
Akame said that with grief face, it caused Eleonora's smile to vanish, replaced by a serious look on her face. She remembered that Akame still doubted time traveling, which troubled the black-haired girl this morning and made the young bluenette worried about her lover.
'Should I ask her about it right now? But that might make her uncomfortable and will leave an awkward feeling. I think the best time is when the date is about to end and reach its climax. I shouldn't rush myself about it.'
Eleonora closed her eyes and went quiet for a moment before opening them and nodding with an understanding smile.
"Yeah, that's what I will do this time. Having fun and enjoying life with my lovers and friends."
"Although, the friends you meet are always women that will be your lovers, Eleonora."
Akame said that with a knowing and teasing smile, which caused Eleonora to laugh aloud. The black-haired girl let out a chuckle; both of them laughed happily since Akame said one of the undeniable truths of Eleonora. Even Eleonora couldn't do anything but agree to it.
"I can't deny that, but I consider my lovers also my friends. But if it stayed as friends only in my relationship, I think it would be a man. Hopefully, not a type of man that I won't hate."
"What kind of man do you hate? And how many the types of them?"
Eleonora hummed and pondered before answering Akame's questions.
"I think someone like Emiya Shirou, from the anime I watched. He is sexist, overly naïve about his view of the world, very selfless, and kind of dense. Whenever I see him, it makes me want to gut him. But that is only one example from many."
Akame nodded and took notice of this from Eleonora.
'So if Eleonora meets with Tatsumi, she might hate him. I hope if they meet, things won't go wrong. I don't want things to happen like that between them.'
She doesn't want Eleonora and Tatsumi to kill each other since they are precious people to her. Eleonora is her lover, and Tatsumi is her former comrade. They are also her friends, but Akame also knows that forcing Eleonora is not wise.
'But Tatsumi is not that sexist and not too naïve anymore after the thing he been through. Maybe there is hope for them to be friends.'
Akame hoped and prayed for that. A subtle smile on herself when she thought of that, and Eleonora noticed it, then asked Akame.
"Hm? Akame, what's wrong? Something that makes you happy?"
"Mhm. I'm happy to have a date with you, Eleonora. Something also crossed my mind; maybe I will share it after our date."
"Then, I will wait for it patiently."
