Chapter 66: My Favorite Person

"And I miss you so much!" she said her voice cracking. 

"Muffin, you'll never have an idea on how much I miss you too." 

She is sitting on her favorite spot for their lunchtime call. She is in the gazebo at the small park near Miss Fiora's house. The gazebo is facing a beautiful lake that is still frozen even when it is almost the end of winter.

"Hello? Grand?" 

She looked at her phone confused. Did the call get cut? It is still on but she can't hear Grand's voice. She wanted to talk to him more, why does a bad line have to happen now that she has long hours to talk to him, she thought in annoyance.

"Why won't it connect?! Ugh! So annoying!" she said, dialing his number after hanging the call. 

It rang once and was answered quickly, but she still can't hear Grand's voice. 

"Hello, what's happening?" 

"I'm speechless," he said.

"What? Why are you speechless." confused, she asked.
