Chapter 60: 60 Busted

Rachel and I stood transfixed waiting for the other to speak first, she looks older now yet still beautiful, her blonde waves cascade down her shoulder, her red lips tilting slightly making her look maniac. I feel underdressed standing beside her, my polka dot top and my jeans with pink sneakers make it more perfect for my situation. Just why do I have to wear this today?

Leo stares at her with no interest typing away in his phone. The only time I saw Leo smiling is when he's with Grey or when I talk about Lawrence. I wanted to scream partiality at his face badly.

Being the good person I am I muster up the courage and give the fakest smile at Rachel, although she looks the same from seven years ago, her aura gives me a different vibe, like she doesn't take me as her rival. Wow!

"Hey, Lyra " she greets waving shyly.

"Hi" I greeted enthusiastically with my teeth on display. Why can't I smile and show my teeth when Mr, Rabbit can do it without trying. Right?
