Chapter 7: Training gone wrong

1:13pm

Girls Locker room, UA High

I sighed at my reflection. Turning around I left the locker room, ignoring all the looks some of the girls gave me.

I stood outside on the field with the boys waiting for All Might to explain. The girls finally came out of the locker room and even when they were inside I'm pretty sure Iida was giving me the stink eye.

"All right!" All Mights voice boomed. "Today we'll be having a combat battle. Each of you will go against eachother to see who ranks the highest. Who ever ranks highest gets the best cabin on our field trip tomorrow." Everyone's emotions filled with excitement and anxiety.

"We'll find the top from both boys and girls and the two top will compete. The first two are Jirou and Hagakure." At the sound of their names the two girls step up standing straight. All might points to the stadium. "The battle will begin there. There is only one rule. Don't kill eachother." He raises a finger and we all nod.

People sit down on the bleachers as Jirou and Hagakure begin their match. Jirou wins and goes against Tsuyu. This time Tsuyu won and went against momo. Then I was up against Momo.

I stand up from the bleachers feeling the gazed of the students follow me as I got to the battle station. I understood why. They've never seen me actually fight before aside from my mini fights with Bakugou. All they knew was that my quirk and my self were enough for me to have to get escorted to school my cops on only my first day.

I stood on one side of the field and Momo on the other. Her determination was a good thing about her. She wouldn't go down without a fight. But her desperation to complete her goal could also be her downfall.

"Begin!" All mights voice booms through the stadium and Momo begins small.

Throwing missiles at me.

I threw myself at one changing its direction into another one causing a chain reaction and all of them self destructing. She throws more obstacles at me and I dodge them gradually getting closer to her. In a final attempt she made dynamite, and held it right in front of herself. I panicked the small bomb getting closer to exploding Momo. I sprinted to her water engulfing us both. The dynamite blew in the water and a huge wave washed over the field and some part of the bleachers. I evaporated the water leaving me in the middle of the field carrying mono with my arms behind her back and knees.

Some students came and took her to recovery girl. I frown at the sight of one of my friends having to go to a nurse because of me.

"Then Y/n won this round. Uraraka your up against her." All Might said looking at Uraraka. "Tch What hard Can it be beating her. All she did was make water." Uraraka scoffs walking down the stairs of the bleachers. She steps up to me. "Don't waist my time new girl." She glared at me shoving my shoulder and going to her side of the field. I clicked my trounce gritting my teeth. I sat in the middle of the field waiting for her.

"Begin!"

Uraraka doesn't waste a second and runs to a wall touching every inch. The concrete blocks are thrown to me. I dodge them not getting hit. I knew if I attacked I'd let my emotions take over. It's best I lay low.

The rocks come back slamming into my back. The familiar cracking sound hitting me. She smirks satisfied. Shit.

I bite my lip my air quirk rearranging my spine, putting it in place. The pain eases away and her eyes widen at my straight posture. "Oh mommy and daddy not here to help you? You did yourself? How wonderful!" She exclaims way too excitedly. My jaw clenches.

I begin my walk over to her hoping to get close. She sends more rocks to me three of them enclosing me. The stadium stays silent and I could feel her ego growing. The rocks blew up into a million pieces, the small stones falling everywhere my pissed face glaring at Uraraka. She raised an eyebrow. "Wow impressive. Did you learn that before or while you were in jail?" My head ached, my neck twitching.

The air around me seemed to get heavier. I realized she was adding gravity to me. I close my eyes water filling the entire stadium. It was probably something she recently learned. The water went over my head the gravity no longer having a hold over me. The water leaves and I got closer to her trying to keep my temper. It want what she was doing it was more what she was saying.

She seemed to be thinking. As she saw her attempts were working only one thing did. She smiles satisfied. Crossing her arms she looks at me pitifully.

"Your mom was such a nice person." I gulped my moms way of character going through my mind."She was." I look at her. "It was such a shame that it happened." My entire body shook. "Can you not?" My voice cracked. The pain in my head increased and my eyes welled up. I stopped moving, my breathing heavy. "I would hate myself if I would cause that kind of-"SHUT UP!!! SHUT UP, SHUT UP, SHUT UP!!!" I yelled falling to my knees, memories I had long wished to forget reviving in my head.

"Mommy! Mommy! Wake up mommy!" My seven year old body shook my mom.

The floor began breaking and I felt everyone's panicked as all their fear surrounded me, the ground tearing open. Four deep and long trenches formed a cross around me as I knelt down on my knees crying my eyes out.

Mommy won't wake up. And I haven't seen daddy yet.

The ground shook and the cross became even deeper. Each line a different element emerged. One held the Earth long and giant meat eaters clamping their mouth open and shut looking for something to feast on. Another held boiling water bursting into the air. The third had tornadoes moving everything in its path. And the last had blue flames emerging from the ground and whipping around in the air.

Before I could look for daddy the bad lady came and took me away. I never saw mommy and daddy.

The small patch of land that was in the middle of the long drops to death, like an island is where I sat shaking and shivering. The sky above me shook and brought lightning to the ground striking trees and random patches of land. The students evacuated the stadium. And here I sat. Alone in my misery. Nobody looking over their shoulders. Nobody coming to help me. I felt darkness engulf me and I fell.

I fell off the land. Off the only thing I could depend on. Leaving me to die. If I did I know I wouldn't be seeing mom and dad. With all the things I did it is impossible for me to even have the chance of seeing them. I felt weightless staring at the sky as it got smaller and smaller as I fell farther and farther into the hole I dug. Like I knew I was going to die. A blistering heat hit my back but my mind already knew:

I just dug my own grave.
