The First Meeting!
To survive in GT Editing Company, Son Mina decided to keep a good impression of hers on the very first day. Afterall, the first impression is the last impression. She had 90 minutes left for her work to begin. It was a 30-minute drive. So, she had just an hour to freshen herself and get ready.
After exactly an hour, Son Mina was completely dressed up and ready. Ever since some people said her that she didn't look good in mini dresses or skirts, she had made herself habituated to baggy clothes.
So, after wearing a knee length dress after so many long years, Son Mina looked at herself in astonishment. She wore a black full sleeved knee length dress which made her look stunning with that open red hair of hers.
Although the body was Lee Yura's, the soul residing within the body was Son Mina's. So, she felt a little disappointed, yet that disappointment was gone when she noticed how beautiful Yura was. Not only her face, her body too was gorgeous. Seductive enough to swoon anyone.
Yura was tall so, Mina decided to wear black wedge shoes rather than those stilettos which Yura always used to wear while at work. Besides, it was her first-time wearing heels so, she thought of not taking any risk and be comfortable.
She hung a small crème bag over her shoulder and took a deep breath while looking at herself in the mirror. She was afraid that maybe things would spill out or something because Mina was still not used to be called Yura.
'Sigh!! It is gonna be a long day!' Mina grunted and walked out of her room. As usual, she came out of her room and kissed her parents on their cheeks and left.
Exact 30 minutes later, Son Mina reached GT Editing Company. It was a small company but, rumors had it that the director of this company was a very ruthless man who had several other companies under his name. And that was Kim Young Min.
In the comic, the author portrayed Kim Young Min as cruel and cold-blooded person but, despite of his ruthless behavior Son Mina liked him more than that cute, warm hearted man, Jang Dong Min. She had even wondered why Lee Yura was liking a person as soft and warm as Jang Dong Min… But, an inexperienced person like her could never say the answer to her own question.
As she stood in front of the company's entrance, she felt a chill run down her spine. "Ahh… I think winter might come soon this year." She sighed and rubbed her arms to give them some warmth. She took her first step and entered inside the company.
There were a few girls who were talking at the reception desk and as soon as they saw someone enter inside, they abruptly became silent and sat up straight.
Son Mina wondered why there was a change in their behavior and suddenly she stood still frozen like an iceberg.
What had happened on the very first day of Yura's work was that she had faced the company's director, Kim Young Min. Not by going inside his room and reporting to him but, by… colliding with him. After reading the comic till 53 chapters, Son Mina knew that Kim Young Min never took interest in women. She wondered why because the author still hadn't disclosed most of Young Min's past.
So, when Yura had collided with him, Kim Young Min had hated it so much that he started despising her. He created many difficulties for her and never once helped her so, that was why, Lee Yura's work life was very bad and displeasing.
Now, when Son Mina remembered that Kim Young Min was standing behind her at the entrance, she realized that the chill was because of his stare not because of the approaching winter. Thankfully, she didn't collide with him but… she was standing in his way.
She took three deep breaths and turned around with a smile on her face. She had kept her red long wavy hair open and when she turned around to face him, the edges of her hair slapped his face and Mina saw the frustrated look on his face.
At the beginning of her first day, Mina felt her life end. "Oh My!! I'm so sorry!!" She pressed her lips together and looked at him apologetically. She had read all of Kim Young Min's parts attentively and from that she knew that Kim Young Min liked being praised.
So, without any further or due, she began to praise him. Even if she was just pretending to praise him, she couldn't believe that her praises were actually coming all from her heart. But, no one knew of this secret except for Son Mina and the author of the comic.
"Daebakk!! Director Kim, you look so stunning. I'm impressed by your dressing style, Director Kim!" She saw something on his shoulder, and she wiped his shoulder clean with her hand. "Sorry, Director Kim! There was something on your shoulder!!" She gave a sheepish smile.
Everyone present nearby were surprised by her behavior. Men began to look at her affectionately while women glared at her with an intent to kill. They were never able to even get close with him yet this woman whom they had never seen before was smiling and touching their director without any concern…
"No woman had ever dared to be this close with Director Kim. Not only that, Director Kim hadn't even shaken hands with a woman yet, this woman is having the audacity to touch his shoulders?"
"Is she courting death? How can she?"
While everyone had shock written on their faces, a certain person was liking it all. His insides were turning into turmoil as he was just thinking of who this woman was who was able to touch him. She looked beautiful in the black dress and the hair which had lightly touched his cheek, he wanted to feel them again. Everything of her seemed to be perfect; from her eyes to her toes, she was really eye catching and those lips, he wanted to touch those red lustrous lips of hers.
"I am really sorry! I should have not come in your way, Director Kim!" Mina gave the best of her smile. She didn't know that just from that smile she was able to make his heart flutter.
Kim Young Min touched the place where she had touched and glared at his subordinates. "Is there any drama going on here? Why is everyone gathered here? Do you want your salary of this month to be deducted? Dismiss!! NOW!!" His cold voice echoed, and every person present there began to tremble.
They quickly went back to their places. If they had to stay here, they had to obey his order or else they would face his wrath. Son Mina also trembled as she heard his cold voice. Her legs felt like jelly and she couldn't stand in front of him any longer.
She was also quickly turning around to leave when she heard the same cold voice again "Stop!"
She stopped in her tracks and cold beads of sweat ran behind her back. She slowly turned around and faced him "Yes, Director Kim?" She asked.
