Chapter 3: Chapter 3: A Start To New Beginnings
I've been sent to what looks like a spawning area from video games, I need to fin grandpa and Ling Lin first. Walking through the thick crowds of people I hear a little girl screaming, oh no could it be Ling Lin. I started running as fast as I could towards the screaming. As I'm getting closer and its getting louder and louder it seems to be coming down a ally way.
I turn the corner of the building down the ally way to the other side where the screaming is coming from and I cant believe my eyes how could this be. My grand father stabbed his hand through a mans chest, with ease he slings the man's dead corps off his hand into the wall on the other side of him, he murmured something under his breath and turns and faces me. I look and see Ling Lin cowering behind him, did the man do something to Ling Lin and grandpa was protecting her.
My grandpa smiling "boy oh boy you finally got here, I was starting to think you chickened out on us boy."
Ling Lin uncovered her eyes for a split second to look up at me, and slowly got up. after getting to her feet ran and wrapped her arms around me tight, squeezing so tight it was getting hard to breath. "are you okay sis", I said softly putting my hand on her head.
she replied in a soft voice "I was so scared, I didn't think I would get to see you again the man was trying to hurt me and grandpa was so quick i didn't see what happened but grandpa saved me."
"of course I would, your me grand daughter there's nothing i wouldn't do for you" as grandpa walked over I could tell he wasn't looking at us maybe he was looking and studding the system. "so i got experience from that hmm..." he whispered under his breath.
"it seems now that we have found each other we can go look for a mission or some way to make money and find a place to stay for the night." i said looking at grandpa to get his approval of the idea.
"You all are adults now, we are no longer in a world we are used to i'm going to find my own way. i want you all to succeed and become stronger if that's together or alone that's your choice. pull up your systems there is a way to add someone under a friends list and message i will add both of you if you are in trouble i will try to help but i'm heading out on my own to train with no distractions."
so we added each other and grandpa left us there all alone with no where to go. Ling Lin crying in my shirt holding on to me, "Ling Lin would you like to stay together and get through this world with me?"
