Chapter 2: Chapter 2: The First Step
"Why welcome travelers, I am the goddess of one of the planes of existence and I chose you three as my runners please accept and I will give you a rare skill and a legendary item to match your profession, so what do you say?" our eyes open and we are in some kind of room surrounded by a void space. A big table sat in the center of the room we sat down and looked thought about what she just said.
grandpa looked up and said "what happens if we don't accept?"
"I will teleport you back to your world, and you will go on like nothing ever happened. But you will lose out on the big competition and a adventure of a life time. you will be fighting some of the best martial artist in the universe and you will be traveling becoming hero's to the lands of existence. Can you really pass that up?"
he looked at me and Ling Lin and said, "You two do what your heart tells you to but to fight against other martial artist and see new skills and techniques, I cant pass this up. I Hope you can understand I love you two dearly." he then looked at her and asked, "what do I need to do?"
she then raised her hand and it was like a holographic screen pulled up in like video games, "Select a class and once you do, you will be teleported to the starting arena where you can form a party, a join a guild, or do what you will like. the system will merge with you and you can level up and learn new skills to help combat against future opponents."
He held up his hand and selected the warrior class, his body then surrounded with a blue light and he was gone. I then looked up and sister Ling Lin selected a class and teleported. I was frozen, what just happened? am I crazy? Is this a dream? What do I do follow or find a new life?
The goddess looked at me with a nice beautiful smile, then asked "Still not sold, fine I will also allow you to choose more than one class, that will grant you even more power how about that?"
looking at this menu there are so many choices what do I even pick, what classes would go good together but also protect against each others weaknesses. stalling for time I asked " is that all i pick up my whole life to start completely over with nothing but a skill tree to unlock and fight?"
The goddess smiled softly "okay fine I will also grant you one wish, on top of everything how does that sound?"
ughh I made this choice even harder what do I wish for, strength, love, money? after thinking for a few minutes I looked that the beautiful goddess and said "for the wish, I wish to be a god cultivator so I can train and learn skills the gods have.", "really that's it okay, stand still." she pointed her finger and a beam of light touched me right in the forehead.
I became very disoriented for a moment and my body felt weird, "and for the other agreement's I will chose all the classes." I swiped my hand across the system with a black void like light surrounding me. the goddess face changed to a confused terror as if this hasn't happened before.
My entire body now engulfed in pain as if the light was pouring into my body in large quantities. What did I do did I break the system or something, am I going to die? My clothes started changing into a old ragged set, I was now wearing cloth slippers and a small cloak that goes around the shoulders with a hood, I received a side satchel.
the light started to disappear and I was able to see again, but now I was in a room with someone else. "Hi there stranger I'm the systems tutorial guide, if you look at your left wrist you will see the system band if you press it the system menu will open you then can select your gear, skills, missions and inventory in this menu.
