Stand Up
-Next day at school-

Jesse was at his locker when he felt someone bump into him harshly with a nasty comment heard from behind.
"FAGGOT HAHA!!!"
Jesse glanced over realizing who bumped into him.
The thought of speaking up was all there but... It felt as if he couldn't speak with the giant knot in his throat followed by the thought of rejection. Suddenly Jess heard bashing against lockers behind him. He don't think too much about it until.
"G-GET AWAY FROM ME!! P-PLEASE STOP!"
Jesse turned around seeing three upper classmen cornering a familiar face in Jesse's grade.
"Who's going to stop us 'stutters'."
"P-PLEASE! ARGH!!"
One of the guys swung a punch hitting the boy in the stomach causing him to hunch over.
"No one's here to save you, you god damn fag!" The guy said with his fist ready to swing.
Out of no where a backpack was thrown into the guys face causing him to fall groaning out loud.
Jesse looked over to who threw the backpack. His eyes widen as it was Craig.
"C-Craig." Tweek groaned.
"Get out of here Tweek." He said while walking up to the upper classmen.
"B-but they will hurt y-."
"Now." He growled while glaring at the other two seeing the third slowly recovering from the heavy book filled bag hitting his face.
Tweek ran as fast as he could away from the scene.
Jesse felt nervous seeing how much stronger the others looked compared to Craig. It all happened within a second when a crazy brawl started. At that moment students circled around chanting 'fight.' Jesse was mostly concerned how come no teachers were out in the hallway.
"Stay down you fucking faggot! You should have let us kick your boyfriend's ass. You don't look so good as it is."
"Fuck you!" Craig growled.
"Oh I'm happy there's an audience to see how a faggot like yourself deserved to be beaten."
He kicked Craig in the face as blood came from his nose and mouth. Then the guy wrapped his big hands around Craig's neck strangling him on the ground with all his weight behind him.
The crowd had a mixture of reactions but no one had the courage to stop him.
Jesse began to panic as he looked around for ANYTHING. He ran the hallways in search for anything. He saw no teacher but he saw Tweek hunched over crying against some lockers. Next to him caught Jesse's full attention. Panicking knowing Craig didn't have much time left, he sprinted next to Tweek with his arm extended outward. He dug his fingers in the slot while pulled down as hard as he could. The alarm went off while the sprinklers showered the whole hallway. Loud screams were heard all around as teachers and students flooded the hallway trying to go outside. Jesse looked down at Tweek who saw him pull the fire alarm. Jesse simply placed his finger over his own lip and ran off to check on Craig, leaving a confused Tweek. Jesse ran up to the hallway seeing no one was there. He began to panic as he couldn't find Craig. He walked the hallway until he heard heavy panting coming from the corner. Jesse peeked the corner seeing Craig in a ball hiding his face. Jesse felt crushed.. This is the life he sees Craig in ever since he came out.
"C-Craig?" Jesse managed to stutter as he was worried by his reaction.
"Tweek?" He softly spoke as he looked up. He slightly tensed as he saw Jesse instead. The two looked at each other for a second before Craig looked away.
"What do you what?"
"I... Wanted to make sure your okay."
"Okay? Does it look like I'm okay?"
"No I just.."
"Look, if your here to pity me then you might as well get the fuck away from me."
Jesse felt his heart crush as tears fell on his cheek. He looked down while sniveling. Without saying another word he ran off down the hallway following the direction the students went to go outside.
'I shouldn't have spoken to him... I knew I shouldn't have. Why.. Why must I like him?' He thought as he wiped his tears away.
