Chapter 16: My Vow
i saw you walking by
wishing that i could hold
your hand and wipe away
all your tears
that seem to flow down
your cheeks like an endless
river
i want to kiss you until
all the pain and suffering
melts away
but now that im with you
you have forgotten
that i was the only reason
that your heart was not
breaking into pieces
was it because of that ,
that you started to push
me away
are you afraid that one
day i will fade away
like those before me
leaving you with only
memories like they did
and like those memories
you fear that i
will fade away too
i promised you
i promised to stay
by your side
to hold your hand
and never let go
i promised to welcome
you at heaven's gates
or walk with you into hell's
fire , yet after all my endless
vows , you still doubt me
why is that ?
it was you and me
from the beginning
and it will be like that
till the bitter end
our souls have chose each
other and our hearts decided
our fate
long before we even knew
that we were destined to
be
and all these vows
were repeated
over and over again
to lovers that time
has forgotten
so why doubt me
when im your everything
and you are mine
my vows to you
are a promise that
no matter what happens
i will be by your side
till the end of time
