They respond with a nod as they stroll upstairs while I saunter out of the house and follow him behind, quietly. And all of a sudden, he stops his track and says,

"I know you are following me but how long?" 

I stop from my track when he stands in front of the winter beach. My head cocks on the side, confused about what he is talking about. I can't perceive what he means about how long. Then, I stroll closer in his direction and stand beside him. 

My eyes gaze at the winter beach which I'm hearing the calm wave of the seaside. "What do you mean, Christian?" I implore.
