Chapter 111: Second Chance?

I bite my lips while my eyes focus on Brent, who is talking to someone. Then, he glances at me and winks. I scoff and cross my arms. 

"Fine. I'll do my best to beat you… Brent." I murmur while glaring at him. 

I can't believe this! He's my rival to the final category. What should I do? I don't know the theme for the last category. The host hasn't announced it yet.

And all of a sudden, I flinch when someone clasps my shoulder. I glance at it and see Jennie, who's smiling at me, widely. 

"What's wrong?" She asks. 

"Brent."

"Brent? Your rival back in college?" I respond with a nod. 

"Well, I didn't know that he participated in this competition. So the second participant is their coffee shop?" It's going to be so hard. He's very determined to win when knowing that you are his rival." She explains. 

"I know."
