Chapter 4: The wallet
Ariana(POV)
Finally, he left and let me tell you he asked so many questions but I think he is a good person, after waiting for ten minutes they finally arrived.
"Where were you guys I waited for ten minutes?" I complained, they looked at me with a guilty expression.
"I was in the library searching for some books and I didn't realize that the time was up and when recognition hit me. I left everything and come here. so, that's how I'm late" she explained, and then I turned to Rain and I raise my eyebrow to know why he is late?
"I was in the Chemistry lab experimenting and because it has a long procedure to experiment it took quite late for me" I nodded at his explanation.
"Let's go then," I told them. Rain called a cab and the driver stopped in front of us we headed inside the cab after entering Rain told him the address and the driver started driving. We are going to the mall for shopping because Lisa's birthday was ahead which is after two days and she wants a new dress and heels for the party and asked us to join her. So we made a plan in the literature class. After fifteen minutes we reached to the mall and got out of the cab and Rain paid him. We headed inside and first we went to the dress section. Lisa took some dresses and went for trying them and let me tell you she tried so many dresses and they were not looking good enough on her. Now, she came out wearing a beautiful dress but that dress was a Wedding dress and I asked her "Are you going to marry" I asked her teasingly.
"No, I just looked at this dress and it looked so beautiful so I decided to try it," she said blushing. Then we laughed and Rain was not here because he was not interested, he told us he is going some other section but doesn't know which section he went to?
Finally, Lisa came out with a beautiful cocktail dress which was in red and it was till her knee.
"Wow.... It's beautiful" I complemented making her blush.
"Yes, even I liked this dress" she replied while looking down her dress. So, we bought that dress and we headed to the shoe section. After seeing so many she decided to take a heel which was red and was matching with her red dress. After finishing I called Rain.
"Rain, where are you?" I asked him.
"I'm in the food court" he replied.
"Okay, we are coming there," I said and hanged the call.
After reaching the food court we had burger and Sprite and while we were going back home I decided to break the silence because even in food court we were completely silent.
"Do you know Rain, what Lisa did she wore a wedding dress?" I told him jokingly and he laughed.
"Stop teasing me Aari," she said blushing and slightly laughing.
"Ok, fine" I decided to drop the topic making her smile in relief.
We were going to the school by walk and it was already dust so, I decided to say "you both can go and take your bicycle from school I'll go directly to my house because it's already dust and if I go to school then to home it will be late and I don't want Dad to worry about so, can I go home alone? If you guys don't mind?" I asked them in one breath.
"Yeah, Aari you can." Rain replied with a shrugged.
"Lisa?" I called her because she didn't say anything.
"Yes you can," she said smiling making me grin.
"So bye guys see you both tomorrow" I waved them and they did the same.
Now I was going alone to my house when suddenly someone hit me and was running very fast and when I heard a sound calling thief then I noticed Ace Smith who was calling him as a thief and when recognition hit me I rushed towards the thief where he was going. I was quite good at running so now I was ahead of Ace and I was now nearer to him when I caught him I hit him from the back, he falls down and then I pulled his shirt collar. I made him face me and I hit him with my super punch on his face, without thinking he just gave me the wallet and he also apologized which made me roll my eyes.
"I will take you to the police" I threatened him and again he apologized.
"In one condition I won't tell the police?"
"I will do anything, what you say but please don't inform anything to police" Now Ace came towards us and he was very surprised by seeing thief begging me and I just looked at him to say please wait for a moment and he understood my expression.
"Well, if you want money then do hard work than doing illegal work" I stated with a stern look.
"Myself Adam Pinkmen and I...I'm a ca...car
cle...cleaner and I don...don't have much money to take my daughter and son to Aquarium and they always request me to take them to the aquarium. Today I decided to the theft of the wallet so that I could give them a little bit of happiness so I robed his wallet" At first he was shuttering but after that, he explained to us and I decided to help him. I removed my phone and I also asked him some details so that I could transfer some money to him and then in a few minutes I successfully transferred him.
"Why are you helping me by giving your money?" he tilted his head in confusion making me smile.
"So that next time you don't do any illegal work"
"Thank you so much," he said truthfully while his tears fall.
"It's ok Mr. Pinkmen"
"Then may I leave," he asked and I nodded my head and went off. I saw Ace who was looking confused.
"What was that?" he asked me and I explained to him the whole story.
"How did you fight with him, I mean...I didn't reach him but you reached near him and you also gave punch and helped him it looks interesting by the way I think you are strong enough to give punch to others"
"Well, my dad teaches me boxing for self-protection and I think it's really useful in these conditions" I replied while walking because I was quite late now.
"Thanks for my wallet and tell me how much did you give to him I'll pay you" I shook my head and turn to face him.
"No, I don't want your money because I wanted to help him not for money but his children happiness" I explained, he looked at me with a proud expression.
"Can I give you ride in the cab?" he offered, I grin and replied. "Sure" He called for a cab after it came we slide inside on the backseat. When I got home we said our goodbye.
When I entered my house, dad was waiting for me in the hall. when I saw him he looks mad because it was quite too late. After all, I never come this late to home.
"Where were you?" he asked me with a serious expression and I said him to calm down and he did so we sat on the couch and then I explained to him everything from the starting to the end and he believed me. He even smiled because I helped Mr. Pinkmen "because you did great today let's go to the restaurant for dinner" he announced happily and I walked to my room to change my clothes because still, I was wearing my uniform.
After changing I came back to the hall and I saw Jonah.
"Is he coming with us?" I asked Dad and he replied with a yes making me groan. We went to the restaurant and we had delicious lasagna.
"Don't eat too much" Jonah told me and I got angry because even my dad didn't stop me from eating.
"None of your business" I spat.
"I advised you because it has lots of cheese and later you will suffer from indigestion" he explained.
"Why do you bother?" I tilted my head in confusion.
"I don't bother, I am just advising you" he replied with a bored expression.
"Next time don't give me any advice of yours" he greeted his teeth and look away.
"Come on kids don't fight" it was my dad.
"We are not kids and we are not fighting" Jonah and I both said in unison, dad chuckle which made us glare at each other. After having dinner we went back home.

Ace Smith (POV)
I was on my way home and I was fully concentrated on my phone when someone came near me and ran ahead and when I realized, he stole my wallet. With a piss off expression I started running towards him and I saw a girl and then I started to scream 'thief' and when I recognized the girl I was a little bit shocked because she was Ariana Gonzales who is my classmate. She ran faster than me and now she was ahead of me. When I reached her I saw her expression that's said to be silent for a few minutes and I did so.
I was confused a little when I heard what Mr. Pinkmen said but still, I was confused because he was beaten by a girl and he was also begging for not to tell the police.
After he left Ariana Gonzales explained to me that she knows boxing because his dad is a gym teacher and he teaches him because of self-protection and I was impressed by her not because she knows boxing but she values the people and she helped a man who needs money for his daughter and son so that they could go to the aquarium.
Then I decided to help Ariana because it was quite late and she was still wearing her uniform and that means she didn't go home till now. When she reached her house I gave my address to the driver and he started to drive towards my house.
And now I am doing my assignment which was given yesterday and I didn't do that physics assignment because of some reason and now I have to write hundred times but it's ok because I had a weekend this time so, that I can complete it till Sunday Evening and there's no rush to complete it but this time I will complete it while writing I thought about Ariana.
I think I like her.....
