Chapter 174: Sleeping Devil

Mia and Amelia were sitting in Mia's room.

"Have something to eat." Mia pushed a tray of snacks in front of Mia who shook her head in denial.

"I don't feel like eating," Amelia said as she made a face. Her body was filled with anxiety as she looked at Mia who was calm and smiling. "Why are you smiling so much?"

Mia giggled. "Nothing much. Kyle texted me. Something good has happened."

Amelia's face cracked. She did not understand why Mia was so concerned about her brother now rather than taking care of the situation.

"Mia aren't you tense?" Amelia asked as she looked into her friend's eyes that were all smiles. "I cannot sleep at night."

"You are being melodramatic, Amelia." Mia shrugged her shoulders. "You say as if we are killing her?"

"Are we not?" Amelia's voice turned low as if whispering "We are kidnapping her."

"Yes, we are about to kidnap her, not killing her," Mia said matter-of-factly.
