Chapter 72: A Reason To Smile

The room was filled with an awkward silence. Soon everyone settled on their place. Apart from initial resistance from Kyle's father everyone else was least interested.

"Serve the food" As the order was given, the table was filled with various types of foods. Suitable for a little feast. Only six people were sitting at the table but the food was enough to feed at least ten hungry stomachs.

The sudden realization made Clara uncomfortable. 'Why was I never aware of this before?'

Clara's eyes gazed around her quietly. Every person had a personal maid specifically assigned to them to serve. Apart from this, the head butler was standing on guard just in case. The was only one word to describe it, 'Exuberant'

Clara swallowed her anger silently. It was not her family to criticize. Soon their food plates were decorated with a variety of food.

It was not the first time for Clara to visit Black's family and eat here. She was used to it since childhood and the Blacks did know the taste.
