Chapter 60: Planned Something

Evelyn was busy evaluating some documents in her office when suddenly her phone vibrated.

Without seeing the name of the sender, Evelyn picked up the phone and saw. The words suddenly filled her eyes.

[Pack up your bags. We are going to examine the land.]

Suddenly receiving such a message confused Evelyn. She went through it as a prank, but when her eyes moved, Evelyn saw the name.

'Alex.'

Evelyn read the message once again in confusion. But soon more messages drop through.

Before Evelyn could understand the meaning of Alexander's words, two new messages were added.

[I will come to pick you up]

[It is a business trip.]

Evelyn's fingers froze as she thought. 'He will pick me up? To go where?'

Evelyn debated whether or not to call Alexander. A business trip was fine with her, but she should at least know the place. But why was a business trip formed so suddenly was beyond Evelyn's mind.
