Chapter 14: Happy Hunting
Lec looks around the little store she had purchased to start Happy Hunting industries, one of Roman's plans to strengthen Hunters and Huntresses of Remnant against Salem and the Grimm. Happy Hunting is selling an assortment of weapons but the main thing is they are selling shields that will hopefully replace Aura as a protection for people or at least assist it, after all, there is no reliable way for most people to increase their Aura. So the magnificent Roman Torchwick created energy shields that are in some ways more effective than Aura for protecting something.
Other weapons sat on shelves and tables as well a large assortment form heavy-hitting gauss cannon to the Pistol |AN Doom 2016 pistol| and many things in-between. As well as all the ammunition and batteries necessary to use all this stuff. It was the opening day which is the only reason she is here than some of the gang members will take over, security will be handled by two members in HRUNTING/YGGDRASIL Mark I power armor with less-lethal load-outs some of there armaments are the same the changes are instead of the shoulder-mounted 105mm rifle they have a Gloo cannon reconfigured to cause paralysis in humans and faunus, instead of a missile launcher a shotgun full of stun slugs that will put just about anybody out of commission for an hour or so, and its grenades have been changed to nonlethal disruptors they make everyone not protected by the power armor blank out for an hour and they don't even realize it they blink and an hour passed. Hopefully, this can deal with any Hunters or Huntresses deciding to cause trouble allowing safe operation even when other people try to eliminate them or attempt to shut down the shop through underhanded means.
"Hello, new shop, wonder what is in he…." a cheerful voice says as the door to the shop opens.
"What's wrong Summer why did you stop in the middle of the doorway ok that's why," Taiyang adds.
"Is that a robot or a person? It looks intimidating and better built then an Atlesian meck," Raven asks.
"How are you doing in there buddy," Qrow asks, smiling well at one of the people in power armor.
"There is a person in here good this is designed for extended engagements and deployments and is actually very comfortable inside although this one is a downgrade from what I was trained in," a synthesized voice emerges from the speakers in the armor.
"Well if this is a downgrade I would love to see what the original is," Qrow replies with a smile.
"If you want I can show you the original version we don't have it on display but we do have one in the shop," Lec adds as they finally notice her.
"Hey sorry we were preoccupied with your guards we would love to see it," Summer says to her.
"Of course no problem follow me," Lec leads them into the back room holding a full suite of HRUNTING/YGGDRASIL Mark I power armor.
A seven-foot-tall heavily armored and armed suite of armor stands by one of the walls powered off.
"That is impressive what sort of armaments does it have," Raven askes Lec
"A 25mm rotary cannon on the right arm, three missile tubes mounted on the right shoulder able to fire most of the different types of missiles we sell here, on the left shoulder a 105mm cannon that can switch between armor-piercing, explosive, and armor-piercing explosive rounds it can only hold 50 of the 105mm rounds but you can change how many are of each type, and it also has six grenades that you can choose what type they are," Lec explains with excitement in her voice.
"That was a passionate speech," Taiyang adds well inspecting the armor with his team.
"Yes, sorry I get excited about the marvel of technology it is now onto more of our merchandise," Lec replies, leading them back into the storeroom.
"You guys sell some impressive weapons," Summer says well looking through the weapons stopping on the gauss cannon.
"Yes, we do but the product we are most proud of is our shields," Lec shows them to an area full of tables.
"Why would anyone want a slab of metal on their arm it is uncomfortable to fight with," Summer asks.
"Different types of shield This type of shield works like Aura taking damage instead of your body or Aura until it breaks," Lec explains well showing them the shield units.
"Ok so like a second Aura that only protects cool they don't look like much are their differences in the shields," Qrow says well looking at the shield units.
"Yes, there are four major ranks of shields and 11 subranks and 6 special ranks, I have a paper that has them all," Lec says as she pulls out a paper for them to read.

"How strong is one of there's shields," Raven asks after reading.
"A good question: an easy minor shield has about 100 hit points," Lec says, pulling out a device pointing it at Qrow.
"How much punishment will that take," Taiyang asks.
"Your friend here has about 500 points of Aura so about a 5th of what your friend could take when he first started with making an Aura shield," Lec replies pointing to Qrow.
"If that is the lowest of the low ranking shields that will help people immensely," Summer says looking at the shield units.
"That was the hope of the creator of these items," Lec replies with a smile.
"So how much is one of these shields," Qrow asks Lec.
"Well, I'm glad you asked," Lec replies with an almost predatory grin on her face.

Will00 Sorry, this chapter took so long it was hard to wright mabby I burned myself out or mabby it was because no one died in this chapter. Doesn't matter much I started playing through all the halos again on legendary it's..... fun not to mention I'm thinking about doing them all on legendary and all the negative skulls on.
