Chapter 3: Sister's Will (Part 1)
A while later, Renata was relieved when she saw her daughter arrive at the gate while dragging her bicycle.
With a chaotic feeling, Renata ran to greet her daughter, asking anxiously, "Qiara why did you just come home at this hour, Mama worried dear?".
Qiara looked at Renata sadly and felt guilty.
"Qiara's bicycle chain is broken, and it was caused by a bastard who just runs his car".
"You got hit?". Renata's face became anxious at Qiara's story.
"It was not hit, but Qiara's bicycle was brushed and then fell!". Qiara replied with a sad expression.
"Thank goodness if you are okay. Well then, let's go in! Mama has cooked delicious dishes for you!".
"What is it Ma?". Qiara asked impatiently.
"You will know later". Renata replied as she led her daughter into the house. Not long after that they had dinner together with Qiara's favorite menu.
Renata smiled happily seeing her daughter eating well, she did not think that it had been two months since Vania's death, now she can let Vania go.
After finishing dinner, Qiara and Renata returned to their respective activities.
Just as Renata was busy sewing Qiara's clothes in the living room, suddenly there was a knock on the door.
Renata quickly opened the door, while Qiara was engrossed in listening to music while playing games in her room.
"Good evening Renata!". The soft voice came from her friend Sarah who had not seen her for a long time.
"Welcome Sarah to my humble house, long time no see!". Renata said after opening the door for Sarah.
However, she was a little surprised when she saw a tall and handsome man standing beside Sarah.
Isn't that Julian? He said he was paralyzed and blind, but the one standing in front of me was perfectly healthy. What is this?. Inner Renata.
Heard Renata's friendly welcome. Sarah smiled and then held her best friend's hand and said". Re, thank you for your warm welcome, Julian and I are very happy to visit your house!".
Renata smiled at Sarah's words, after which she invited her guest to come in and sit in the living room without asking many questions, because she was afraid to offend Julian.
After serving a drink, Renata immediately sat back across from her guest.
"Julian, are you healthy?". Renata asked with a smile seeing Julian, who had been silent all this time.
"I am healthy!". Julian replied briefly.
"Thank God, I asked because I was worried I never saw you on the screen or the news during the two months of your accident with Vania". Renata said again to clarify her intention.
"Sorry because I could not take the woman I love to her final resting. And sorry because I just came to greet you! These two months I used to rest". Julian explained, smiling bitterly.
"Even though I really love Vania, I can't wait to welcome her to be my daughter-in-law at my house, she's a very beautiful and kind girl. But apparently, God loves her more than I do, so God took her first." Sarah said, interrupting Julian and Renata's conversation.
"You're right. Hopefully she's happy there. Oh yeah, are you here just for friendship or is there any other purpose?". Renata asked as if she didn't know anything.
Sarah immediately turned to Julian. Julian immediately understood and opened his mouth to convey the purpose of his arrival.
"Vania's birthday is soon. So, I came to fulfill her will. I really love Vania because of that I want to carry out her last will, because I don't want to feel guilty for the rest of my life if I ignore her will". Julian explained with a sad expression.
"That's right Re. At first I hesitated, but after reading the letter from Vania that she wrote at the last second, I immediately agreed to Julian's request. After all Qiara is also your daughter and Vania's sister, they will not be much different right?". Sarah said while shedding tears.
Renata took a deep breath hearing Julian and Renata's words, because Qiara and Vania were like heaven and earth.
Renata did not think that Julian would agree to Vania's request, so she never told Qiara about the last letter from Vania.
"I also received a letter from Vania, she asked me to allow you to marry her sister right on her birthday". Renata said with a heavy heart, because she also didn't want to disappoint her dead daughter.
"Have you told Qiara?". Sarah asked.
"I wanted to tell her a month ago when I read Vania's letter. But, I'm afraid Qiara will refuse because she is still in high school and very unstable". Renata replied with a complicated expression.
"I understand that it must be hard for you. Slowly you explain it to Qiara!". Sarah said as she took a deep breath.
