Chapter 244: Where We Stand

As there was little left for today, Prince Qui thought that he would be cruising through it. However, it seemed like his hanging conversation with Tianshi Xue was still bothering him—not bothering per se, but was making him think.

He already expected this situation and he should have known how to react and what to think and yet it seemed like he was having second thoughts about his original decisions. It was crazy to think that he was getting swayed by these things.

"Are you alright, General?" asked Aiguo as he took the seat next to Prince Qui.

Prince Qui was patiently waiting for his turn in this sparring exercise. The longer that he stayed in the palace, the less that he paid attention to his body and got absorbed with the royalty matters—which he should not have been thinking too much about in the first place.

"Yeah," he answered, could not help it sounding a little stiff. "Just thinking about the future of Heping."
