(A/N: Merry Christmas everyone!)
Following the guide the Blackie sent him, soon Nineteen arrived at the entrance of Hell. Approximately within the 20 radii of the portal door of Hell, the surrounding environment seemed in a dying state. Everything was gloomy and creepy.
Nineteen was a little shaken from the creepiness of this place, but he continued forward until he stood in front of the majestic portal door of Hell. He looked around the door and found that there was a guard standing near the door. The guard seemed to sense him and made a 90 degrees bow immediately.
"Paying respect to the Nether Empress! My ID is 95470539728, rank Colonel, took the task of guarding the entrance of Hell. May this servant know why would the Nether Empress visit this place?"
"Nothing much. I just want to visit those dead spirits in Hell and see their situation whether it has become better or worst."
"Then I shall open the door for you, your majesty, the Nether Empress. Welcome to Hell!"
With that concluded, he knocked on the door three times before the door gradually opened. After the door fully opened, Nineteen saw another dead spirit on the other side saluted him the same as the one before.
"Paying respect to the Nether Empress! My ID is 97957753154, rank Colonel, took the task of guarding the entrance of Hell. This servant shall be a guide for you, your majesty, the Nether Empress."
'Ah! This pattern of speaking is so annoying.'
Nineteen nodded his head showing that he understood. The dead spirit before went back to his original post and the one in front of him stood behind him. He raised his eyebrows because he didn't understand why did he stand behind him. Didn't he be his guide?
The dead spirit with the last idea of 4 spoke up before Nineteen questioned him as he understood why the Nether Empress didn't move forward.
"Your majesty, the Nether Empress! It is considered to be rude for this servant to walk in front of you, your majesty, we will be punished. So, this servant shall guide you, your majesty from behind. This servant welcomes you to Hell."
"Alright!"
Therefore, Nineteen had no choice but to walk in front of him as they slowly strolling along the path that seemed to be in red color. He glanced at the surrounding environment. Everywhere was all in red or orange color, even the sky was no exception. The red cloud filled the entire sky.
The one behind him started to describe the environment of Hell. There were several mountain ranges within Hell. There were also multiple canyons and valleys within those mountain ranges. He also added that there were a dozen of a volcano too. And everything was in either red or orange sometimes black.
Now they were walking toward the headquarters of Hell. The head of Hell held a position in the ranking system of Major General, he was also known as 'Red Zero'. As his ID started with number 0 and end with 0 and he chose the task to supervise Hell which was dyed in red color. He was strict and abided by the rule with no condition.
He also once solved the crisis of the escaping of a million dead spirits who wanted to escape from Hell, two hundred years ago when he was just a Colonel like him. With that merit, the Nether Emperor awarded him to be Major General. Thus he only needed to work for another three hundred years or so to be able to have a perfect reincarnation.
Then he continued on talking about the various thing that happened recently in Hell, the rule of Hell, the living standard, maybe, and also talked about the recent event regarding the Nether Light.
As Nineteen listening to the heroic moment of the head of Hell, without realizing they had arrived in front of the black building which was similar to the European castle. It was built on a hill with numerous guards surrounding the wall of the castle.
As for the left side of the castle, there seemed to be where those dead spirits worked because there was a trace of a vehicle on the path. Nineteen didn't know what kind of hard work did they do or how long would each individual work. He could know all those after asking the head of Hell.
The dead spirit that guided him was now talking to the door guarding the entrance of the castle. He appeared to be startled and instantly looked at Nineteen, making a bow, and proceeded to enter the castle. Maybe he went to inform the head of Hell or someone that had a high position in Hell.
He didn't let Nineteen wait too long when the entrance was opened widely from inside. The man that came out was about 40s in appearance but his body looked robust with a scary scratch mark across in left eye. He looked like a gangster but not a normal gangster, a leader of the gang.
"Paying respect to the Nether Empress! My ID is 832256472647, held the rank of 'Major General', taking the task of supervising and managing Hell. This servant welcome your majesty to Hell. What could we do for you, your majesty?"
"I just want to see the situation in Hell and oversee something. It's not that important to trouble Major General accompanying me."
"No, your majesty, the Nether Empress! I will greatly accompany your majesty during the time you visit Hell."
"Alright! If you say so, then I will trouble Major General."
"Nothing at all your majesty! Welcome to Hell!"
For some reason, kept hearing the sentence 'Welcome to Hell' multiple time since he first arrived at the entrance portal, making him feel a little weird like those word seemed to be a teasing word to someone who had done a bad thing and they were sent to Hell to punish hardly. And those who punished them always smiling evilly while saying 'Welcome to Hell'.
Nineteen was invited to sit on the sofa which following by Major General and his assistance sitting on the other sofa across him. He started to ask various about Hell. Those dead spirits worked non-stop whether they were working slow or fast. Most of the work was about mining for the spirit stone in Hell and melting them into glow stone that can absorb the Nether Light.
Then, the stone was used as a reward for every promotion that the dead spirits earned in Hell, so when they left Hell, they could naturally absorb the Nether Light like the normal dead spirits. As Nineteen was listening to this, he suddenly thought of something.
Besides the annual festival where the Nether God personally opened the Nether light for the dead spirits, there was no other occasion that the dead spirits could earn the privilege to absorb the Nether Light. Therefore, Nineteen, as the Nether Empress of this Netherworld, could do something about it. But the question was
'What he could do about it?'
Well, I wish you health, happiness, and prosperity! Haha! I wish you are safe and sound. Be careful when you go out during this situation.
