Chapter 57: HOLY POWER
"So you can't control your holy power for now?" Ashleah tilted her head after sipping a cup of tea. Hanging out with Nash and Axis outside of the Imperial Palace, they were inside the garden of the Emerald Palace that was getting fixed because this will be a personal palace for the one and only Imperial Princess.
"Unfortunately, I still do not know how to control these powers that I have. No one knows that I cannot control it, all they know was I have these powers given by God himself." He sighed before taking a sip from his own cup of tea.
Nash and Ashleah looked at each other when Axis sighed because they felt like there was this heavy burden on his shoulders. Of course! Who were they kidding? Bein the chosen child of God and to be given such power, you will become a laughing stock to everyone when they find out that Axis himself does not know how to use his powers.
"Do not feel worried, Axis. We do trust you that soon enough you will learn how to use your powers. We're always here to support you."

'That was what I said to Axis months ago.' Ashleah thought while looking at Axis with her widened eyes because HE WAS NOW USING HIS HOLY POWER! "Axis hey calm down-" She tried to hold his shoulder but the man shook his head.
"No, I found him. Inside the Emerald Palace, Prescott is running behind him. Let's go there before it's too late." His glowing eyes landed on Ashleah and he smiled, he also glanced at Nash and nodded his head "Thank you for believing in me."
After those words left his mouth Axis suddenly disappeared and then they heard a loud crashing noise on the other side- and her eyes widened even more where the noise came from. Ashleah sighed in relief when she saw that Prescott evacuated those people inside the Emerald Palace.
Nanny Riley quickly ran out of Ashleah's room and went to Aziel's room. She sighed and deeply and was about to run behind her nanny, but suddenly she heard another loud noise. Looking back, she gasped loudly with both of her hands covering her mouth.
The half of the palace was now currently shattered. She saw how this white light covering the half of the Palace, and beside that white light was a sky blue one, a little smaller than the white one. "I-Is this their powers?"
"Your Highness! Let us go and evacuate!" Nanny Riley called her out. Ashleah looked at them, she saw how Aziel's body was trembling while holding her nanny's hand. She shook her head and quickly ran to them.
"Hey, come let's go." Ashleah picked Aziel up meanwhile Giulia was held by Nanny Riley. "Nanny, are there knights around or is it only us?" She knew that her hands was also trembling but she needs to act tough for Aziel who was also currently scared too.
"Your Highness!" It felt like Gab was an angel sent from heaven, Ashleah quickly held Nanny Riley's wrist. "Please, his Majesty told me that we should run away far from the Imperial Palace as soon as possible. I really feel like this will be a huge figh-"
Suddenly another loud crash, Aziel started crying. She panicked and covered his ears, kissing the small child's forehead. "Hey baby, calm down. You're going to be safe, hmm? Okay?" She tried her best to give him the most comforting smile she can give Aziel.
"P-Princess, I'm scaaareeed!" He cried even more, making Ashleah hug the child tightly and nodded her head to Gab and Nanny Riley. They started to run as fast as they can to the nearest carriage that Gab prepared for them.
"Nanny Riley, what's that you are also holding?" Ashleah pointed the bag that her nanny was holding.
"This one? It's extra clothes, foods, and a large cloth." She tried to smile, Ashleah took a deep breath and wished that this will end soon. She does not wish that this will get even worse.
"Quickly, get inside." Ashleah whispered to Aziel, Gab went beside the coachman who was also trembling in fear. "Thank you very much for serving us even though you are scared." She was about to bow her head when-
"MY! Please do not bow your head to a lowly coachman like me, your highness. It's been a huge and grateful privilege to serve you. Please do get inside, it is not safe for her highness to stay here outside."
Nodding her head with teary eyes, Ashleah went inside the carriage and helped her Nanny who was currently covering the kids with the large blanket. "It's okay your highness, I can handle it myself-"
"Father? WHERE'S FATHER?" She suddenly started to panic, and tried to open the carriage's door but soon then completely failed. "WHAT'S HAPPENING?! GAB! GAB! OPEN THE DOOR!"
"I am very sorry, your highness. His Majesty told me not to let you out of the carriage." She can hear the fear in Gab's voice, she wanted to kick the door but that might frighten the kids with them even more.
She closed her eyes as she felt the carriage moving quickly. Plans were raining inside her mind, not until the carriage suddenly stopped making her heart drop suddenly due to unknown reasons.

Meanwhile, Prescott still had this flaming eyes at the man who had a cape. "Do show your face and stop being a coward!" He glared.
"I will never forgive you and those people who you planned with for hurting her highness!" Axis blurts out because of anger.
The man with a cape chuckled while looking at those men who are currently surrounding him, having thoughts that he could run away anytime he wants. "My, please stop acting like you are her friend. Do tell the Duke the truth."
Axis eyes widened and suddenly the bright white light covering him got bigger. "What are you talking about like you know?" Nash said while he was pointing his sword at the man.
"My, the Duke does not know that the future high priest has a little bit feelings towards the Princess?" They can tell that he was acting like he was kind of surprised.
"I do not even know who you are and for you to tell those words!" Axis said.
"Why? Am I wrong? Trying to stop those feelings for her highness because you also feel happy for the both of them, don't you?" With that, Nash and the Emperor laid their eyes on Axis.
"Stop spouting nonsense!" He was about to attack the man but he started to laugh.
"Please do not turn your attention all to me, you might now know what's happening to her highness."
"You fucking bastard." Nash blurted out, suddenly the man with a cape had his last laugh and disappeared.
"Prescott, you found him? Let's teleport-"
"HER HIGHNESS IS IN DANGER!" His voice was filled of horror that Axis used his holy power to teleport everyone where Ashleah was.

"GAB! WHAT'S HAPPENING?!" The scream from the coachman sounded so horrific. "Nanny, please do cover the children's body with the blanket so that they cannot be seen with us."
"How about you-"
"Please!" With that, her nanny nodded her head and quickly covered the children who had this scared looks on their faces. "No matter what happens, do not open your eyes and cover your ears. You too nanny hide."
She nodded her head even though her eyes had this hesitation. After that, Ashleah started to kick the carriage's door.
"Your highness! Do not dare and open the door!" Gab's voice sounded like he was worn out, but Ashleah was very stubborn and she continued to kick the door.
She stopped when she heard Nash's voice. "Stop being stubborn Ashleah. Do not try and open the door." With that, her hurting legs slowly stopped with the tears in her eyes dropped one by one.
"My! This is very amazing. So this is the power of someone from the Celeste tribe?"
"Shut up and die, will you?" Prescott blurts out.
"Oh! Dear me, you are being too straight forward."
"You're a black magician aren't you?" Prescott said making her breathing hitch while silently listening to their conversation.
"And if I am?"
"You!-"
"So this is the known holy power?"
With that, another blinding light covered everything that it can also be seen through the carriage's window.
