Chapter 637: 599. End of the Shinobi World
Seiryū takes out a Wakaturi-type arrowhead, pierced with a Buddhist motto.
He infuses his energy into the arrowhead and points it towards Shutendōji.
'If only I had father's Hama Yumi bow to launch this arrow!' Seiryū sighs in his heart.
'The Hama Yumi bow or the 'evil banishing bow' is the sacred treasure of his father. It's an extremely powerful bow capable of annihilating any evil.'
Swoosh…
As soon as Seiryū fires the arrowhead, it vanishes into the void; away from everyone's perception. Even Seiryū, as the user of the arrowhead, is unable to sense its location.
"Oh!"
Shutendōji raises an eyebrow as the arrowhead seems familiar. A few seconds pass by with no sight of the arrowhead.
'Did I use a dud?!' Sweat trickles down Seiryū's forehead.
'In that case, should I prepare for escape?'
Just as Seiryu was preparing to escape.
Shoom…
Suddenly, an unsuspecting arrowhead coated in blue energy pierces through the void, right in between Shutendōji's brows.
BOOM…
A powerful burst of energy explodes on impact. The burst of energy leaves a beautiful trail of starlight that depicts the wonders of the cosmos in the void.
For an instant, a nebula of stars illuminates the sky; drowning all evil and even dispelling the light of the Infinite Tsukiyomi.
The roots of the Divine tree retreat to the ground, leaving behind dried husks of small and large bodies.
Even Ibaraki and Black Zetsu are affected by the purifying effect of the arrow.
White smoke rises from Black Zetsu's body and slowly incinerates him. Whereas the blood aura around Ibaraki vanishes and his skin turns red from the heat, making it look like he is being cooked alive at the moment.
'Did it work?' Seiryū wonders.
The power this arrow possesses is several thousand times that of the previous spear Izuna used against Ibaraki. However, instead of the pure destructive power that the spear had; this arrow has a very strong purifying effect.
The purifying power is so strong that it illuminates every corner of the small dimension the Shinobi world is located in. It's the for this reason, Seiryu didn't want to use such a trump card.
A small hope of overturning the situation rises in Seiryū's body.
"Hmm… the power of this Evil Banishing arrow is not bad!"
However, the next second, a calm and collected voice breaks the last straw.
Suddenly, the nebula-like radiance vanishes in thin air to reveal Shutendōji's figure.
Shutendōji is holding an arrowhead between his fingertips with ease. There is no sign of any distress or discomfort on his face.
Snap…
He pinches the arrow with slight force, and it disperses into motes of energy.
"It has been a while since one of these arrows hit me." Shutendōji reminisces.
"The last time it happened was during the great war between the two clans. Back then, Ōnikunishi used the Hami Yumi bow to bombard me with several thousand of these arrows. That attack did sting a lot!"
Ah!
Seiryū's face freezes.
'I am doomed!' He sighs in his heart.
Shutendōji has a playful smile on his face.
"So, what else do you have to perform? I am quite eager to see another firework from you."
Seiryū places his hand inside a spatial pocket. He hesitates a bit but ultimately decides against it.
'What use would it even have? Since not even the Evil Banishing arrow could phase him. I guess this is the end for me.' He accepts his fate.
Suddenly, Shutendōji's expression turns cruel. A powerful aura burst forth from his body. Cracks appear in the surrounding space.
Even the entire Shinobi dimension starts to crumble from the pressure. The barrier around Redaku illuminates slightly, but soon several cracks appear on its surface.
Bang…
With a loud noise, the barrier around Redaku that lasted for millennia shattered into countless fragments.
The remaining animals and survivors lose their minds and slowly morph into hideous creatures. Even the residents of Redaku aren't spared by the powerful aura of Shutendōji.
"Is this the end of the world?" Tsunade and others also sense the world ending aura with despair.
However, at this moment, a faint blue energy shrouds the entire Donut Island and protects them from the corruption and pressure of this power.
"This aura…"
Tsunade, Minato, Kushina, Mei, and others glance at the source of this aura.
Ayaka's body levitates in mid-air. Her eyes emit the blue light. There is a psychedelic kaleidoscopic pattern in her both eyes. Six eyes with strange and obscure patterns around them float beside Ayaka, emitting a blue aura.
"What is this Dojutsu?"
Ayaka's strange ocular power surprises Fugaku and other members of the Uchiha clan.
"That doesn't seem to be like a Sharingan, Mangekyo Sharingan, or even the Rinnegan!" Itachi mutters.
The group glances at Akira and Aiko, Ayaka's parent, who are present beside her.
"Do you two have any knowledge about this, Dojutsu?" They ask.
"We don't!" The couple shakes their head.
"We have never seen her use this power before." They mutter.
"Those eyes!" Minato and Kushina recognize the six strange floating eyes behind Ayaka.
"Minato, Kushina! Do you two have any idea?" Tsunade notices their expression.
"We don't know about her Dojutsu. But we have some idea about those six strange eyes." Minato points towards the Sin eye floating beside Ayaka like a halo.
"This is some sort of otherworldly artifact that Izuna found in the ruins of an ancient ley-line. He told us that this artifact possesses enough power to destroy the world and only he can use its power." They relay superficial information about it to others.
As for a detailed explanation, they don't dare to reveal it without Izuna's approval.
"Looks like Ayaka can also wield this artifact. And currently, she is using its power to protect us from harm." The group glances at the blue barrier surrounding them.
"I wonder what happened in the outside world!" someone speculates.
"Don't be rash! Let's wait for news from the frontline. Sasuke, Naruto, and Izuna are still fighting against Madara." Tsunade shakes her head and warns others.

On the battlefield,
Just now, he released an aura of his divinity to scare the little prince in front of him. He did this to mainly toy with the latter and see the reaction of Ōnikunishi.
"Looks like your father doesn't care about you!" He mumbles.
"OH!" Suddenly, an expression of interest appears on Shutendōji's face.
He glances in the direction of Redaku and notices the blue barrier resisting his barrier.
"Interesting! Very interesting! What a strong power of karma! I didn't expect that thing to be here."
A smile appears on Shutendōji's face.
"Looks like this small world holds many secrets and treasures."
"Oh, no!" Seiryū's expression turns ugly as he recalls something.
"I won't let you harm her!" The hesitation in his eyes vanishes, and he takes out a Gohei (a flail-type wand) and throws it towards Shutendōji.
Shutendōji ignores the Gohei since he doesn't sense any threatening aura about it. He motions a grabbing gesture towards the Redaku island.
On the Redaku island,
Suddenly, a massive purple hand of chakra bloats the sky. The palm of the massive chakra hand engulfs the entire island.
"What? What's this?"
The eyes of residents widen in shock.
"Is the world going to end?" Several normal residents of Donut Island fall on their knees and pray to the Goddess to protect them.
"What's happening?"
The sudden change surprises even Shinobis and the members of the Uzu clan. The terrifying aura of the massive hand send shivers down their spine and most shinobis buckle up under the pressure.
Tsunade, Minato, Kushina, Mei, and other Kages and commanders are no better. Only the area around Ayaka is slightly safe from the pressure.
Shisui, who was also in awful shape, slowly raised his head to glance at the terrifying hand.
"This… this looks like a Susanoo!" He mutters under his breath.
Itachi, Fugaku, and the members of the Hyuga clan who hear his words also raise their heads with difficulty.
"It… it's really a Susanoo!" Fugaku gulps his saliva.
"But… but how's that possible!" He murmurs in intense disbelief.
A massive chakra Avatar with a similar appearance to that of a Susanoo covers the entire planet. Its size is almost a hundred thousand times that of a normal Susanoo.
The divine technique, Susanoo, has an entirely different power in the hands of the Shutendōji, the progenitor of the Otsutsuki clan.
Rumble… Rumble…
The entire shinobi world trembles from the pressure emitted by the massive humanoid chakra construct.

Chapter 638: 600. River of Souls
A/N:- Another milestone of 600 chapters. This story has come a long way, either in a good way or a bad way; I don't know since it's for you readers to decide. But I will give it my all. Perhaps I am not a good storyteller but I at least tried. So, please forgive me for my mistakes.

Whoosh...
When the massive hand was about to cover the entire Redaku island,
KABOOM!
A beam of light pierces through the dark sky of the shinobi world, bringing it with a blazing ray of light.
BOOM...
The ray of light pierces through the body of the massive Susanoo, dispersing it into motes of light. Several thousand motes of light scatter across the sky, dispelling the looming darkness and suppressing the terrifying aura.
"Nii-san!"
The glow in Ayaka's eyes vanishes, and the blue barrier protecting the entire island disperses. Ayaka falls unconscious.
"AYAKA!"
Akira and Aiko quickly support her.
The six strange eyes floating around Ayaka rise in the air and shoot through space, leaving a blue trail of energy.

On the battlefield,
Seiryū holds the Gōhei in his hand and throws it towards Shutendōji.
"Another artifact with purifying powers?!" He glances at the incoming Gōhei and sees through its nature with a single gaze.
"Useless effort!"
He ignores the Gōhei since it doesn't pose a threat to him.
However, the Gōhei instead of striking Shutendōji, flies past him and collides with the small nebula-like orb levitating behind him.
Bang…
A powerful explosion occurs as the Gōhei releases all of its power and disintegrates into white light.
A barrier envelopes Shutendōji and blocks the light. There is not even a ripple on the barrier from the attack.
Suddenly, the expression of Shutendōji, who was about to grab the entire Donut Island, changes. He raises his head and glances at the sky of the shinobi world.
A gigantic sigil of the Dharma wheel shrouds the entire dimension. Another layer of Chaos wheel stacks on top of the Dharma wheel.
"Hmm... this aura!" Shutendōji's expression changes slightly.
Bzzt... crackle…
Black and white lightning flicker between the two wheels. The gates of universal balance open to reveal a massive lance of light. The lance travels at light speed and penetrates through Shutendōji's massive Avatar.
The powerful laws within the lance, erase the metaphysical concept of Avatar, destroying it.
BANG...
The nebulae-like orb behind Shutendōji shatter and a figure flies out of it. The two massive dharma wheels in the sky appear behind him.
Izuna opens his eyes to reveal a sigil of a Dharma wheel with eight spokes in his right eye and another sigil of a chaos wheel with eight arrows in all directions in his left eye.
"Order and Chaos Authority: NULLIFICATION!"
Izuna mutters and the powerful pressure shrouding the entire dimension vanishes.
"Interesting! Very interesting!"
"So, you forged a Primordial Origin weapon using the eyes of the Lord Chaos and Lord Order; allowing you to tap into their divinity at the cost of some strain on your body. Not a bad method, if I have to say. However,..."
Suddenly, Shutendōji's expression turns serious.
"What can a weakling like you do with such a power when you can't even wield a fraction of it?"
A gleam flashed across Shutendōji's eyes.
Crack... crack...
Numerous cracks appear on the two Dharma wheel projections in the sky.
Whoosh...
Shutendōji flies out of the planet and levitates into space, confronting Izuna. The pressure on Izuna increases by several manifolds as Shutendōji gets closer to him.
BANG... BANG...
The two-dharma wheel projection in the sky shatters into countless motes of light, snuffing out the last ray of light and hope in the world. Utter darkness shrouds the entire dimension.
The dharma wheel patterns in Izuna's eyes also vanish. His body suffers a severe backlash and numerous bloody cracks spread across his body.
Izuna's blood and vitality drain rapidly. His hairs turn white and his body shrivels up like an old man. Izuna's skin slowly peels off from his body, revealing his skeleton and internal organs.
A black aura of death escapes from his body and slowly corrodes his organs.
"That's the power of Abyss!" Seiryū recognizes the black aura as an Abyssal power. The light of life in Izuna's eyes slowly fades away. The last flames of life slowly flicker, being on the verge of extinguishment.
"What a pity to waste such a specimen!" Shutendōji shakes his head. His expression returns to normal.
"This world hides several mysteries. I will bring it to the Otsutsuki clan to study it in detail."
Once again, he extends his palm towards the shinobi world. His huge Avatar appears again, this time several thousand times bigger than before.
An expression of despair flashes across Seiryū's eyes. He clenches his fists and gums until they bleed.
"Looks like this is the end!"
Tsunade, Mei, Kushina, and others glance at the massive hand with bleak eyes. Slowly, darkness envelops them as the Shutendōji's Avatar's massive palm grabs the entire planet. He seals the planet in a black orb. Starlight flickers across the black orb, creating a galaxy.

"Looks like this is the end of my journey!"
Izuna's soul detaches from his body and floats across a sea of stars, flickering and radiating with several hues.
'This scene looks familiar!'
He mumbles to himself as he attempts to recall a forgotten memory.
'I remember now. This is the river of reincarnation! So, I have truly died.' His last hope of survival fades away.
'Perhaps this is fate!' He closes his eyes and feels the flow of the reincarnation river. The whispers of several souls echo in his ears.
'What am I thinking? I don't even have ears.' Izuna chuckles and witnesses his reincarnation for the second time.
'Second time?!'
"Ah! I remember now." A memory that was buried deep within the depths of his memory's surfaces.
'This is my second life! I have already died once and reincarnated.'
Izuna recalls his first experience of dying and then aimlessly wandering across the river of reincarnation, waiting for a second chance at life.
"Looks like I failed!" More memories surface in his mind.
"Don't fail again!" Izuna glances at the river of reincarnation and mutters to himself.
"Time is a river with many eddies. I have seen its headwaters. And I have seen its currents reach the sea. I have seen its vortexes, and I have felt its flow. Nothing is eternal, not even the..." A shadow detaches from his soul and vanishes into the river of time flowing with the river of reincarnation.
"A lingering memory! An obsession with the past!" The faint whispers of souls turn coherent for an instant.
Izuna closes his eyes and drifts alongside the river of reincarnation.
After an indefinite period, he regains consciousness.
"Where am I?"
Izuna slowly opens his eyes and looks at the vast stretch of whiteness in his vision.
"This looks familiar!" He chuckles.
"So, is this another setting where I reincarnate again, but this time in a different world?" He shakes his head.
"Let's see who will I meet this time?" He turns his head around.
"AH!"
A young, beautiful, fair-skinned girl with thigh-length navy blue hair tied in two messy low pigtails with a square fringe hanging just above her crystal blue eyes stares into Izuna's eyes.
Izuna's facial expression freezes and the words that he is about to speak are stuck in his mouth.
"So, this is your real appearance!"
The girl moves closer to him, her nose almost touching his. Her crystal blue staring into his soul.
"AH!"
Suddenly, the girl slips and her head slams into his forehead.
Bang…
The impact makes Izuna see stars.
"Am I hallucinating?" Izuna wonders before he passes out again.
"I am sorry! I am sorry!" The girl panics. She grabs Izuna and shakes him violently.
"I didn't mean it!"
