It wasn't long until Lia had become tipsy. While she was uttering a lot of nonsensical stuff, Leo just kept on conversing with her, and he found it cute especially that it was the first time he saw her drunk.

"Leo, you knowz! I like itz better without your facez mask," Lia said, her cheeks red like a tomato, "I don'tz want youz to hide anymorez."

"But Lia, what can I do? I need to wear it. People will laugh at my face."

"Ahz, don't worry! Thatz why Sanno and I…" she paused, then looked away, "No, it iz nothing!"

It piqued Leo's interest and wanted to hear her continue her revelation, "Don't you trust me, Lia? It's me, your bestfriend, Leo. Tell me what's on your mind. What's with Sanno and you?"

Lia stared straight into Leo's eyes. Confirming that she could really trust the person she was talking to, she continued talking, "Sanno… hez… hasz he called youz?"

"No. Not even a message. Why?"
