"What about Ae, doc?" Lia curiously asked. It must be so important that the doctor had to call that night.

"Anivia Aevis is his sister, right?" Dr. Dexter asked for confirmation.

"Yes… Wait, doc. Aesop is with me," Lia took his wireless earphones and placed one of them on his ear. "Yes, doc, Anivia is his sister. Why?"

"Well, it seemed like… Chrome had a job for D.M. cadre before. And it says here… That he replaced Anivia Aevis' records."

"WHAT?!" Lia shouted in disbelief. D.M. Cadre would go that far? "Did… Did my grandfather…?"

"No. It was Seth Viordan, D.M. Cadre's past Head Scientist," Dr. Logan explained, "Plus, aside from the Aevis' family, there were also some other records here… I think they're from the families of mutants, too. I've checked the top-secret journals that Sanno had acquired, and the surnames matched. Chrome had different kinds of missions for them."
