Chapter 10: Blossoms
"Oh... alright after you're done come downstairs," he looks at the suspicious scene.
"Alright Jac, We'll see you later."
"Come one thy, you'll love this embrose we got you,' Jacob was busy rambling about the embrose as I was drag downstairs but I couldn't help to get a glimpse of Adriel watching me.
As the two went down, Dex looks at Adriel that has eyes on the disappearing figure.
"Riel you better tell me what the hell happened,' Dex asks his the quiet figure.

"What!" Dex's eyes widen at what Adriel had said,' you do realize that the moment you see Jacob and Amethyst walks in you knew that Jac has a little bit soft spot for Amethyst right?'
The younger looks at his older brother as he sees Adriel's eyebrow furrow as he sees the other later was looking him at a questioning look, a judging face. Adriel couldn't help to groan as he sat in the bed.
"Riel"
"Enough Dex, Please not right now," Adriel told his younger brother," Amethyst and I know that it was an accident, and if Jac did find out it would be no big deal.' He looks at Dex who was just giving him "Are you kidding me" look.
"Amethyst is not Jacob's girlfriend.' He assures the other demigod,' and I can't stand that human, you know that.' The demigod assures the younger, well more of assuring himself.
"Amethyst might not have status with Jacob and right now it might not be big deal but everything starts with a relation or a connection,' he told his brother as he helps the small guy downstairs to the kitchen -" and it seems,' he looks over the both of us laughing Jac was telling Amethyst something funny making her laughs,' Jac might have already called dibs on the human girl.'
"Well, he better man up and understand Artemis might not like his sweet boy is in a relationship with a human.' Adriel grunt as his abdomen was still hurting.
Dex chuckled at how blunt his demi friend is sometimes,' you're right Artemis might not like Jacob's fondness over the human. But you'll never know the extent of what Jac can do if he's determined to have things he wanted, you knew how persistence he is.'
"We'll see about that, now we have to find a way to keep hiding her from Raymond. If he ever finds out a human is roaming around the place he'll have our heads.' Dex talked about his brother who was slumping in the chair dozing off.
Adriel open his eyes as he looks at worry Dex, but he couldn't careless as he shurgs.
"Whatever I don't care what we do just don't ever mention that demigod here," Adriel scoffs and he goes back dozing," That's Jac's problem and if that demigod did ever know it's not my problem they could take her for all I know."
"Riel... Do I need to remind you again?" Dex's eyes wander over the dozing demigod," Don't compare Amtheyst to Moira, you can't just expect every human to be same as Moira,' That name came up again as Adriel's heart and mind the once happiest memory was now clouded with hatred toward that name.
The once happiest memories, the thing and soul reason why Adriel's heart turn into stone-cold, But what a human girl has done to a demigod whose power was beyond anything you could imagine
'I don't know what you're talking about.' Adriel answered nonchalantly, he's so used to people asking it was like rubbing salt over the wound, what happened next you become numb with it and to answer the question is better to pretend like nothing is going on.
Adriel continued again," I was only looking after Jacob, you know how he's always going around meeting people who might look an angel."
'Please, I know you know that we both care about Jacob but just because what happened you can't just ban everyone from having true love, what happens when that girl is Jungkook's, true love? Are you going to hate her for the rest of your life? Give her a break Riel, you don't know what she might have gone through" Riel's eyes flare at the younger proclamation and his eyes bore into the younger.
'I don't trust the human because she's not Moira! That's my problem, at least I know her, I know Yoon Moira like the back of my head and how she is,' he looks at the younger demigod,' Moira is my problem and not even you or Jacob should interfere with this and I suggest you don't even speak up that name again.'
"Whatever happened between me and Amethyst has nothing to do with that woman and there is nothing going between us,' he calmly recalled his composure.
Dex was about to retort again but he knew better, despite Adriel living a few more centuries older than him he knows better to know that his brother is not strong enough to deal with his past, he's been keeping in all inside him and one day Adriel's going to explode.
But Dex knows how stubborn Adriel can be and if he tries to say anything no good outcomes will come, what Dex needs to do is to wait and let him opened up and he's willing to wait for his brother to open up.
"Now," Adriel tried to stand up but fail miserably as Dex helps his brother,' we need to think of a way how we're going to keep her away from Ray or the others."
'Raymond doesn't usually go here since his business with the academy and other than that nobody really goes here except for Jacob, he had taken good care of holly, so I don't mind him. But I'm not sure about Athena, I'm surprise she's not frantically sending troops to investigate the additional pion in her map.'
Dex nodded agreeing to Adriel's words,' you are right, son of Athena might think Amethyst as a threat and Namjoon might even curse the poor girl for messing up his map."
Adriel's eyebrows furrow," The map is now in that demigod's hands? Did Athena finally give up her spot? Shame."
Dex eyes look disapproving over his brother's sarcasm but he answered nonetheless," No, what a demigoddess without her status? She'd handed the map because she'll know Ray would care more than she'll ever be."
Adriel's scoff as he shakes his head, "Why am I not surprise."
"Well, he better be careful with the map of his the last time he finalizes the map for the Trojan war it didn't end up well," Dex couldn't help to giggle at Adriel who was grumbling.
'Oh the one where a lot of the straying soul ends up in river Styx and the keeper couldn't keep the should away from your castle,' Adriel grunt a little on how Raymond had ended up killing half of the city in a day and the soul that should have been transferred little by little so that the keeper can count how many souls will pass the afterlife.
But because the city was a big place and the causalities were fairly large it overflowed to yoongi's castle thus making Adriel's domain is inhabitable right now, thus resulting Yoongi living at his current place until further repair.

As they both chatted Jungkook and I was having the time of our lifes as we were astonished on how the food here in Olympia was almost the same as on earth, even better than earth in fact. I wish I could take them back home.
'Jac please tell me you have the recipe to this wonderful honey embrose.' I told the demigod that was sitting over the other side of the mahogany table.
'I don't think even if I do have the recipe thy, I don't think you could make them, the ingredient here and there doesn't really match up.' He chuckled as he looks at me and pushes over a strand of my hair out of my face and I froze as to realize what was happening as my brain didn't work my heart starts making weird thumping sound.
What's wrong with me today, curse those beautiful demigods, I thought
As we both sat in silence I had taken the courage to speak up,' I hope Adriel's alright... it was a really bad wound he caught up there.'
Jacob eyes who was smiling suddenly turns into a frown as he was expecting something else, but he smiled," Hey... you don't have to be sorry it should have been me that was sorry, it was so usual for me to fight like than since we're all demigods," he took my hands as he holds them dearly in his enormous hands,' I didn't really think that you could get hurt like I did, at second there I really forgotten who I was bringing this time is a human and not some mythical being."
He looks at you and nudge my side, "besides I shouldn't have angered Adriel like that I was not thinking straight and was clouded with frustration considering he could snap me like a twig, his status here and powers are incredible."
I look at him observing and listening to what he was saying when I blurted out the question I was so curious about, and I couldn't just stand still to not knowing. It was a force of habit.
"Who is she?"
