Chapter 206

"Lucky-" Ambrose called out. 

"Everything's going to be fine. You have nothing to worry about." Lucky uttered out as he raked her stray hair back from her forehead. 

"You'll be fine." He whispered again as he stood up while holding onto her in the process so that she would stand up as well. 

Ambrose cried out in pain. Her feet felt numb and her waist felt like it was on fire. 

Lucky swept her off if the ground, carrying her in his arms in bridal style, she wrapped her arms around his neck and leaned her head in his chest. 

"Lucky.." she called out again. 

He hummed out in response. 

"Thank you so much." she said. 

"You shouldn't thank me. I don't deserve your gratitude because after all, you're in this mess because of me." Lucky replied as he turned and walked out of the room that Ambrose had been confined in.
