Lorena's eyes were fixed on the couple. The mixed up feelings wafting off of them was what had caught her attention and with all the curiosity that reigned in her body, she was eager to know what was wrong with them or rather, what was bothering them as a family. 

Aisha's heartbeat had accelerated so was Hamlin's though the man had managed to calm himself down in the first few minutes after Araminta had asked that question. 

Whoever this Rufus was, something bad had happened to him and they did not want to disclose the information to the little girl... This, Lorena affirmed to herself. 

Well, if it was something bad... The parents did have a right to keep it away from the little girl but personally, she was not a fan of keeping secrets no matter whom it was that the secret was being kept from. 

According to her, everyone deserved to know the truth no matter how painful it was.
