Chapter 169: Chapter 168

"Why.. Why can't I smell his phoenix, if he's really one?" Daniel asked after several minutes of silence. 

His face looked wounded, this was the least of his expectations but there was nothing he could do to change it. 

Fate had decided to gift him with a Phoenix as a mate and he was in no place to reject him or maybe he had a choice? 

"Are you going to hate him now that you know who he is?" Minerva asked. 

"I- I don't know," 

"What should that mean?" Minerva asked narrowing her eyes on Daniel. This was getting weird so was the atmosphere in the room. 

Deep down, she knew that the two were compatible and at the same time not compatible, it was up to the two of them to know how to make their relationship work. 

Daniel let out a exasperated sigh, "The firewings ancestors commonly called as the sand wings...." he trailed off.
