Chapter 254: Suppression is not the best solution

Zane's Atlas beeped and he rubbed his eyes and tapped on the ear stud. A picture appeared in front of him, it was Phoenix, he was wearing a white sweater and white slacks and stood in front of a small desert stall with a large label. 'Sunset Treats.'.

There was a message under the picture.

"The best coincidence. My favorite store opened a branch just a few blocks from our dorm. I am so happy today, nothing can spoil my mood."

He was really happy. His eyes were glowing the way they did whenever he ate snacks or whenever he saw him. Zane suddenly laughed and his eyes softened. He wiped away the tears with the back of his hand and he took a minute to calm down.
