Chapter 149: How to leave the bedroom

Zane woke up earlier than the sun today. He sat up and soon the memory of yesterday came crashing down on him. With the sweet joy was the sharp embarrassment and he buried his face into the pillow.

"I have class early in the morning and I..I need to go back now." His words came flashing back.

Oooh! He had so not played it cool. "Aah!" He screamed into the pillow before he calmed down. In his defense, the way Phoenix had been staring at him was a little nerve wracking, those golden eyes seemed to have shadows buried within and an intensity that made it seem like he was planning to eat him. He had just freaked out and that chuckle he had heard behind him.

"Aah!!" He screamed again before spreading his hands on the pillow as he faced the ceiling.
