First day of college. The first day of suffering for some, but for Tamitha, it is the first day of new knowledge and discovery, especially now that something has piqued her interest. She wanted to know what happened to her that night. Everything seemed so real and until now, she could still feel minor pain in her ankle whenever she twist it. As if she had a real accident, but how come, if it was just a dream. And that's what she wanted to figure out. How come her dream felt like reality.
"Come on Tammy, it's just our first day can't we at least enjoy the sceneries of the campus first, before smooching with those books for heaven's sake!" Her best friend, Pearl complained.
Well, you can't blame Tamitha, she is a total sucker for books and once something piqued her interest, she will not stop figuring every bit of it. But her best friend is right, she got no choice but to agree and decided to just wander around the campus and enjoy the chilly weather. As they walk around, she can't help but observe her friend's every movement. She remembered in her dream how she almost got her best friend in danger.
Pearl Welsh. Her long-time best friend.
They have been friends since birth because their parents are long-time best friends too. For all her life, she's the only friend she has, cause she's cautious about who she should give her trust to. She knows that most of people here are fraud and would just use you for fame, money, or whatever they desire to. She's just thankful that she always got Pearl no matter what, and she promised herself that she would always be there for her too, even if it's the end of the entire existence.
"Hey Pearl, thank you for being a wonderful friend to me I owe you my life." She suddenly uttered.
Her friend found her remark shocking, but she immediately smiled at her and said, "What's with you? Why are you being sentimental?" They just both laughed at each other's statements and continued roaming around the whole campus.
They also talked about what they should be having later for their lunch break. They're arguing whether or not they should eat something healthy or have their cheat day for today. In the end, they decided to just eat at the cafeteria.
Moments later, they decided to part ways to attend their classes this morning. "See you later girl! Goodluck!" They exchanged their goodlucks before separating.

They are now on their last subject for today and Tamitha just wants to go home and head straight to her room. She kept daydreaming about being comfy at home. She didn't notice she is being summoned by the headmaster of the university.
"Ms. Hunter, they need you at the headmaster's office."
Pearl pokes her arm to get her attention while she immediately stood up. "Oh yes. I'm sorry." Luckily, during their last class, they had the same schedule.
She directly head straight out of the room and as she walk towards the office she can't help to once again space out. She noticed the different banners around the campus welcoming all the students. Her eyes landed at the biggest banner hanging at the campus.
Northcrest University.
The moment she graduated on her elementary days it has been her dream school to attend to and now that she's here now, studying here for three years, she can't help but feel giddy about it. For her, it is an accomplishment to enter her dream school because not all are fortunate enough to enter this prestigious university.
Anika Tamitha Hunter. Her mom is very fond of the zodiac signs and anything about astrology, making her interested about it too. Her name was even inspired from her mom's favorite sign. The Gemini. She loves the story of the twin brothers who has an unconditional love for one another. According to her mom her name Tamitha means twin making her name means the gracious twin, while her twin sister who passed away was named Adia Tamara which means the gifted twin. Her twin was indeed a gift from above because she sacrficed herself to save Tamitha when their mom gave birth to them.
Tamitha will be forever thankful for her twin sister. And she's doing her best to live her fullest not only for herself but for her sister too. For Tamitha, she's just a typical person who has a dream, but she's more to it, and everyone around her can see that. She just fail to see it, because she would often doubt herself and question her ability. Without her knowing there is so much more she could offer if she'll just know how to embrace everything about her.
"Ah, finally the precious Gem is here now. Very well now, please take a seat." Headmaster Damon welcomed. Headmaster Damon. The head of the university. Ever since he met Tamitha, he has been very warm to her and very caring like how a father treats her child.
She find it cringy whenever someone would call her that, but she's just letting it be. Because according to them she's a gem to this university for everything she's done. Thanks to her curiousity she would always end up inventing and discovering new ideas. No one would be shock if one day she'll be able to win a noble prize because of her inventions.
Tamitha gladly obliged. "Is there anything you would like me to do?"
"Yes, dear, please. Kindly help this new lovely lady around the campus. Since you're the president of the council, please do the honor."
"Correction, you made me run the council and become the president." Tamitha joked, which made the headmaster immediately laughed at her remark.
"I'll take that as a yes." The headmaster winked. "I would like you to meet Ms. Asteria Gregory. Ms. Gregory, this is Ms. Hunter." Tamitha offered her hand for a handshake. However, it almost took a minute before Asteria accepting it.
"So, you're the Gem I'm hearing about huh?" Tamitha can't help but creased her forehead. "What do you mean?" In return, the maiden just gave her a smile and walked out of the room. Tammy shook it off and followed the lass. But as they roam around the campus, she can't help but think what this lady's trying to say.
"Asteria is the goddess of falling stars, right?" Tamitha trying to start a conversation, however she thinks it only made everything worse. She saw how Asteria's body stiffened with the question. "I-I mean is that how your parents got your name? Did they base it from the goddess?" Tamitha panicked. "I-I'm sorry did I say or do anything wrong? I didn't mean it, sorry."
Asteria slowly calmed herself down and just flashed another smile at Tamitha. "I see you have done some research, huh?"
"W-what do you mean by that?"
"Nothing," Asteria responded, looking at Tamitha mysteriously while smirking, which intimidated her. "Anyway, did you know that I asked the headmaster to allow you to tour me here on your campus?" Asteria shifted the topic that makes Tamitha more intimidated.
"Y-You know who I am?"
"Who wouldn't know the face of perfection?" Asteria sounded like she's mocking her. And at that moment Tamitha knew that both of them would never get along. After that, no one bothered to talk anymore and just enjoyed the walk. Until they reached their final destination.
"That's a wrap for your campus tour. I hope you enjoy studying here. And forgive me if I will leave you here now, I'll get going now. See you around." Asteria just nodded. Tamitha slowly turns her back and tried walking two or more steps but before walking away she tried looking back on Asteria but she's gone already.
Well, that was weird.
