Chapter 18: Don't Mess With The Ink Machine

Jess let go of Spencer as she felt the sharpness deepen in her back.

"Now, walk away from the body." The voice demanded.

Jess grit her teeth as her eye changed black.

"Don't make this harder on yourself. This is your last warning." The voice said while the sharpness got deeper.

Jess acted fast as she forced her whole body to liquidize as she became an ink puddle on the ground.

"Eww what the fu-" The voice was cut off by feeling a sharp pain in both ankles. "ARGH!!" He yelled out while trying to use his shadow ability to escape but it seemed to not work as he was trapped in her ink puddle.

Jess pulled his ankles with her exposed hands while digging into his skin. Pulling him inside the ink the man began to panic.

"Fuck, fuck!!" Suddenly the woman inside the host knew what she had to do to escape from being sucked into the puddle. She forced herself out of the host's body as she became nothing but a ghost. Looking over at Spencer she began to panic as she was at her most vulnerable state. 'I need to get in his body now!!' When she appeared in her none ghost phase she quickly ran to Spencer. "Almost there." She held her hand out as she was so close to his body. She stopped before she could touch him as she felt a heavy eerie presence near her. She tensed as she felt something suddenly dripping on her head. She looked up at the ceiling in fear as she began to think to herself, 'Fuck, Fuck, Fuck, what the fuck is she? I need to get the fuck out of here!' The woman nearly fell as she was running as fast as she possibly could to the door. She came to a complete stop when the way out was blocked by an ink puddle slowly forming. The woman's body was trembling as she saw a figure crawling out of the ink in a way that was extremely unnatural and horrifying to watch. The woman fell on her ass as she quickly back up seeing the ink filled mess limping to her as she stuck her hand inside her open chest as it didn't close all the way. The woman began to whimper in fear as the ink creature pulled out a black hardened ink filled sword. Tears poured out from the woman as she didn't want to die. "Please..please, don't kill me..... PLEASE!!" The more she begged the closer the sword got to her throat. The woman closed her eyes knowing what she had to do in order to survive. 'One more time... please... even if it kills me..' The woman forced herself to enter in her ghost phase as she quickly fazed through the ink girl and the door to escape. Feeling all her energy escaping she quickly formed back to her normal state. She ran as fast as she could while looking back constantly. She turned the corner down an alleyway to catch her breath. When she thought she was in the clear she sighed out loud while clenching her chest over her heart. 'What the fuck was she? I need to tell the boss now!' She turned to leave the alleyway to only come face to face with the deformed ink seeping girl. The woman screamed out as she desperately ran down the alleyway. She was stopped in her tracks when she ran into an ink puddle grabbing her ankle. The woman let out a loud scream for help as she realized she could easily play off as an innocent bystander. "Help me anyone please?!!" She begged. The ink was going up her knees then legs. She tried falling on the ground to crawl away but the ink was hardening to the point she couldn't move. Letting out her last blood curdling scream, the scream became muffled as a hand was placed over her mouth. Tears filled her vision as she looked who the hand belonged to. Her eyes widened as she saw it was Night Stalker.

"No one is here to help you Heidi. Give it up." He spoke in a deep scratchy tone as he was hiding his anger.

Suddenly something grabbed her hands while putting a tight restraint on her wrists as she couldn't move.

"I'm afraid you fucked with us at the worst time Heidi, you might not know this but you made the Ink Machine angry. Now your coming with us. Like it or not." Spencer said while uncovered her mouth.

"Please don't do this.. He's making me do this... He.. he won't stop until I come back. He will find you all and gut you like the pigs you are!!" The woman also known as Heidi screamed.

Spencer backed up while looking at her. His eyes fell behind her as she couldn't see what was behind her.

What do you say Token? He asked.

Her eyes widened as she could see Token coming in her peripheral vision. She looked over at him with tears escaping. He remained silent as he was pissed.

"Token I-" She was cut off by a hand place over her mouth but it wasn't his hand. It was his shadows hand.

"Don't speak.. You have no reason to." He spoke in a way Spencer never heard, as if his voice was broken.

"Heidi, you will paying for all the crimes you have done." Spencer said while walking behind her and grabbing her wrists. She let out ugly tears as she began to hyperventilate.

"Please... don't do this!!" She begged out loud as she was guided out of the alley way.

The two boys remained silent as Jess was no where to be seen. The two boys walked Heidi to the South Park Police Station. With constant screaming and several attempts to escape out of Spencer's tight grasp she finally gave up as her head hung down.

"Whoa, Night Stalker.. is that The Possessor?" A cop spoke up as he quickly got out of his chair.

"Yes, make sure she's locked up good. If you have any of those power draining necklaces she's going to need it." He said while tightening his grip on her wrists.

"Yes sir. We will take her from here." Another cop said while grabbing a necklace from the counter.

Sniveling and small whimpers were heard as she knew she had lost. The officer put the necklace on her as the other was about to put handcuffs on her. "Whoa, what's that on her wrists?" He asked looking at the black blob really confused.

Spencer didn't know how else to signal Jess to let go of Heidi's wrist. He rubbed the ink with his hand. "Jess you can come out. They will take her away." He said softly.

Both cops backed up as a gasp was heard from both when they saw the inky goo dripping into a big puddle then a woman crawling out. They both got in a fighting stance as they placed their hand over their guns ready to arm at any second.

"It's okay, she's with us." Spencer said with his hand out.

"Wait... that THING is a hero." A cop asked.

The label sparked anger in Spencer. "That THING is more than a hero. She's the one that saved me and Black Mist. You should be thanking her!" He barked, causing the two cops to tense in fear as they pulled their hands away from their holster.

Spencer looked over at Jess seeing her in a deformed ink seeping form staring at the girl in pure hatred. Spencer looked at the two officers. "Put the handcuffs on her and take her to the best closed off cell. The Manipulator will send someone to get her I'm sure of that."

"Yes sir." The officer said as the other handcuffed Heidi.

Spencer stole another glance at Jess as he saw the further away Heidi was, the more color eventually was showing in Jess. Then he noticed the amulet bubble back to the surface of her chest as she slowly formed back into her normal human look. 'Yes, she looks terrifying but I don't care. I have her to thank. If it wasn't for her I would be in the Possessor's control. Also.. She brought Token back to us. I still don't know how she did it but.. I'll do whatever it takes to make it up to her.'
