Chapter 236: The Break of Dawn

Shizuka fluttered open her heavy eyelids that were met with the breezy wind. It felt just like the chilly wind on a starry night she slept under before. The canopy of leaves above her shielded her from the sun that began appearing at the east side of the horizon.

It was a new day already.

She felt like it was just yesterday that the one day they fought was oddly eternal. That one day where she and the others fought and fought endlessly. Sceptical fish knights, some persistent syinklets, corrupted demons and whatnot-- they were all truthfully difficult to deal with.

Shizuka looked around and found Isseiris fast asleep with Yuzuki in his arms, hugging the older boy's neck. She would capture and kept the memory in a photo full of colours if it wasn't for her forgetting to bring her camera to Trenarrol.
