Chapter 217: Gathering of the Elders

"All right, kids. Enough arguing. If you want to ask the elders, let' go now. You don't have much time, do you?"

Shizuka and Kishi stopped moving their mouths, along with their movements. They looked at the man incredulously, wondering how he got to the door so quickly. They saw the mage walking out of the room without another word, leaving them both alone in the room with nothing but chairs and curtains.

Kishi hastily tore his hands away from Shizuka's head and rushed towards the door, attempting to go out first. However, Shizuka's smaller form beat him to it when he pulled the piece of wood open. "Hey! Not fair!"

"Who's 'fair?' Don't know her~!" Shizuka laughed victoriously, leaving a grumbling Kishi behind as she caught up to the mage. The lavender-haired Ichisaki slammed the door shut and dashed towards the other two, bumping into Shizuka in the process.
