So she went downstairs to get her supplies to fix the roof, but when she arrived at the living area, she noticed wet footsteps coming from the outside.

She felt something was off since it's was not like her Uncle to enter the house without making a sound. 

[Could there be an intruder?] She thought so she reached for her gun in her pocket and followed the wet footsteps. 

The footstep led her to the kitchen, and she noticed someone's shadow on the floor. 

So she exhaled a breath then carefully approached the kitchen with her gun raised and ready to shoot. 

However, before she could even reach the entrance, a large man suddenly jumped out and attacked her with a stick.

His attack was too quick for Ivy to dodge it, but luckily for her, the moment the man noticed who it was, he held back his attack and his sharp stick stopped just an inch before it reached her neck.
