Chapter 95: VX Gas

You watch a scene unfold in front of your eyes. Nick is being very cheeky with the treating doctor. Why does he say that now you care about me? First, you saw the hate in his eyes and now he is being rude. Something is going on and you need to know what it is. So, you decide to keep quiet and just watch what is going on.

"Nick... I mean Mr. Roberts, I am only coming by to check on my patient and you are my patient. So please tell me how are your leg feeling?"

You can see Nick is avoiding her gaze and he moves around uncomfortably. Then he looks at you as if he wants to say something but turns back to her again.

"I am fine. I am doing fine"

"So we do not have to up your pain medicine?"
