Chapter 79: The Way She Teased Me

Jace's POV

I wish to join them on the balcony, but I want to keep myself calm and I don't want to face Miracle wearing a fake smile. I just lay on my bed thinking about Caitlin and Miracle. I hope my ex-girlfriend is fine because I know I break her heart big time. I realize I helped Caitlin during her battles during our High School and College days, but I promised not to leave her whatever happens. But I never realized Miracle White can happen. I don't know if I deserve Miracle's affection, but I love her, and for now, that is the only thing that matters.

Charles gets inside our room and I feel nervous knowing that Miracle is now in her room. I hope she still wants me to go over to her room and spend the night with her.

"Why didn't you join us, Jace? How are you and Miracle? Are you good?" He asked me successively.
