"What's going on, outside?" September asks, after she had rested enough to let her body absorb the nutrients in the blood.

She hadn't slept at all and it obviously worried Cyril who had excused himself a couple minutes before to give us some privacy.

She had join me to sit on the ground, the plush rug cozy underneath us as we lean against the wall, responsibilities weighing down our shoulders.

"Darrell came over, a couple days ago, I start from the least troubling detail."

She whips her head around at me, surprise brimming in her dark green eyes. "In person?"

"Yeah." I affirm.

"What did he want?" She asks blankly, relaxing into her previous position, eyes dead.

"For us to get bonded." I say bluntly.

A sardonic laugh gets ripped out from her and I quirk my lips in worry. "He's a clown, obviously."

"Same thing I told him, in a different manner though."

"What's did he do then?"
