Chapter 117: Chapter One-hundred & Sixteen

The perks of having so many castles scattered across the city and then some meant that servants who knew about them did not hesitate to give out the information to whoever they seemed worthy.

I make my way to the Walled Castle, where mother had us live for most of the time before coming to Earth.

The castles are rarely ever left empty, hired servants keeping it spick and span for whenever Laccrosse chose to come live.

I had sent the carriage back when we had gone well past the gates, dematerializing here, I didn't plan to spend much time away from September.

"My Lady." The Head of the house greets, puffy hairdo wiggling. "What a lucky surprise, the master bedroom is ready or if the Mistress would prefer her old room, that can be arranged."

I try to not physically cringe at that suggestion. "No, Bertha, I just want to see mother."
