Verancy stayed silent for a few seconds, before smiling up at him. "Timaeus Phoenix, would you like to take a walk with me?"

Timaeus blanched, hesitating for a few seconds. However, he was aware that this would be a good opportunity to find out if the speculation he had about him being her mate was right. Phoenixes did not have the beauty of having mates with who they would spend the rest of their lives. Thus, to think that he might be the mate to a werewolf still hadn't registered properly in his mind.

"What about this little pup?" he raised his arms, gesturing at the brown fluff that was still in his arms.

"Let me take him back to his pack members. Johnathan should probably put him to sleep close to the Luna." She plucked the sleeping wolf out of his hands without much resistance and scurried into the flower pathway.
