That evening, Lexine arrived home with a bag full of groceries. In her mind, she had already created a full menu of what she was going to make for Ceeret and her father. However, she ensured the amount was a little more than what four people could eat just in case they came with more than one person.

The art of cooking for guests when they came over was not something she had learned from her mother, rather she had learned it from her father. The man detested when anyone came over and they did not leave the house without eating to their fill.

The thought of cooking reminded Lexine of the short amount of time she had spent in the land of the sylphs. The way they shared food like one big family was something Lexine was not used to in the slightest. After all, her family only comprised of three before being shot down to two.
