"Why is he not here anymore?" I remembered asking Marcus Zephanie. There was a man who used to be with us and it did not escape my notice how I no longer saw him around.

It was a little bothersome for reasons I cannot decipher. Maybe it was because I had been used to seeing him and suddenly not being able to made me think that there was something missing. Like a puzzle piece. And I want to find it.

I wiped away the fog that had started to cloud over the mirror of the bathroom, coming back to the present. I stared at my reflection. The hair color that Tori had placed in my hair had slowly faded. I looked so much like Shay once more.
