Chapter 40: The Carriage Ride

You're about to get into a carriage with the King, Lord Jackson, and the princess. you know what is waiting for you. If you don't practice completely self control this can go very wrong. You try and avoid the princess's eyes and for that matter, the King's eyes too.

Lord Jackson holds out his hand for you to get into the carriage. You take his hand and sit down inside the carriage. The princess is already seated and then he and the King follows.

 The princess bends forward "So, Lady Winters, what do you say about this little dilemma we find ourselves in?"

"Your Highness, I'm hardly one to ask about something like this but I'm sure that transport in a carriage is just as acceptable as that of a train?"

The King tries to hide the pride he feels of how you put the princess in her place by not even trying. "I completely agree with you, Lady Winters. I also enjoy a good carriage ride" Lord Jackson smiles at you.
