Chapter 41: REVEAL

BREAKING: People started bashing former Gfriend member, Sowon
Last month, former idols Angel and Seventeen's Jeonghan was shown together at the Return of Superman episode. Fans' heart fluttered as they witnessed how Jeonghan took cared of Angel and they started wondering again about the 'wedding' incident. Many rumors and theories was built again by the fans and Pledis', as well as, Angel and Jeonghan still didn't respond about this issue even though these happened way back 2025. Fans suspected that Angel and Jeonghan was supposed to get married but Sowon (Former Gfriend member and leader) stoled Jeonghan away from Angel. Fan thought about this theory and it made sense to them since Sowon and Jeonghan got married first. People then started bashing and harassing Sowon. There's a lot of clips where people was throwing her some stuff while she's at a street. She was criticized for being a 'flirt' and she's not rending for a month because of this issue though many years had passed after their disbandment. People are still waiting for their explanations and Fans said, they'll believe what they believe unless they explain the truths.

"Are you sure?" Our CEO asked and I smiled while nodding. At first, he don't want me to reveal it because its been 12 years but they have the rights to know and he can't tell me what to do because I'm not his artist anymore.
"If its the only way that can make them stop from bothering Sowon unnie, i'll do it... In the first place, we are wrong because we waited for years just to reveal this and I'm hoping for your support even though I'm not an idol anymore... Sohan was bullied too and people are too much. If answers can make them stop, i'm ready to tell them what happened" I said
"Okay... I'll tell Siwoon to arrange a press conference for you"
At first, I was afraid to talk and tell people what happened because I'm still in a trauma.. So I waited years, wishing they'll forget about it.. But I was wrong... So I decided to tell them everything through press conference. I feel bad for Sowon unnie because they didn't do anything wrong so the right thing to do is to clear their names
"Love, are you sure? I'll come with you" Joshua said. I sighed and nodded. I don't want to argue so I juts let him..

I went inside the conference room with some body guards, CEO gave for our safety. I went to the stage and I can hear a lot of camera flashes and typings from their laptop... The flashings of their camera aches my eyes but I chose not to notice it. I looked at Joshua and he smiled at me with a thumbs up. I sighed before talking
"I'll tell everything about the issue but people should promise that they won't hurt and blame Sowon unnie... And I promise to tell nothing but the truth" I started and sighed again
"2019 when I got invited by Pledis entertainment to audition. 2020 when I was approved to go here after we arranged my papers and visa with the help of Pledis and I started training.. When I was a trainee, I got closed to SVT and they helped me through my trainee days. May 2021 when Jeonghan and I became a couple.. Yes, we became a couple before but chose not to expose so no one would get hurt. July 2021 when I debuted as a solo artist and we didn't kept the secret about how close I'am to SVT. For 4 years, we kept our secret for being a couple and we're sorry for that, its for our safety and everybody's safety too... We managed to be together for years but then Sunnie came. Sunnie was a former 4lyladies member under our same company. I know you already know that through an anonymous person, Dispatch already revealed that Sunnie was involved to this issue and I'm confirming that. I'm here to clear Sowon unnie's name because the truth is, Sunnie was the one you should blame because she's the reason why these happened." I felt my tears wanting to fall but I stopped them.. It still aches my heart whenever I remember what Sunnie had done to our lives
I looked at Joshua to get some strengths. He smiled at me as if he's assuring me that everything's gonna be alright. I sighed again to calm my heart
"People told me that Sunnie started training when I debuted but I don't know her face so I had no idea who she is. CEO once announced that he's going to debut a 4-grouped members where I should be. Yes, your theories that I was supposed to be a 4lyladies member was right. They debuted me first not because they're afraid that my talent will cover them but because they bullied me before.... As a new trainee I don't know anyone specially because I was from the Philippines... Other trainees are threatened to me that they started bullying me and downing me.. That's why I'm glad SVT oppas are there to help me. They became my family and stood there as my brothers.. When the CEO knew that I was bullied by my future members, They decided to debut me first. Year 2025 4lyladies debuted with the help of Jeonghan, Wonwoo and Dino oppa because CEO asked them to guide 4lyladies which they obliged and Sunnie took my place so that the first plan won't be break. I don't know what Sunnie's intentions are but I tried to be-friend with her.. But then I notice something's wrong with her. That time, Jeonghan and I are still together but we're both busy because of my shoots and schedule and though they;re on their break that time, he's still busy because CEO asked him to guide 4lyladies which is at first, fine with me since its work-related and Jeonghan and I agreed to be professionals. Whenever I don't have schedule, I always go out with SVT oppas, go to our company to exercise and practice and what-so-ever... Through the preparation of 4lyladies, Jeonghan was there and I noticed something was wrong in our relationship. I noticed that Sunnie had a feelings for Jeonghan and that's where everything went wrong. Jeonghan and I always fought because he dont have time for me and not just Jeonghan oppa, even with the other members, we had an understanding because of Sunnie and Joshua oppa tried to be there for me but I had a break down and my anxiety attacks and that's where... That's where I gave up and tried to suicide by cutting my wrist but Joshua oppa saw me and immediately ran me to the hospital. " I said and my tears that I was holding back, continuously fell...
I looked at Joshua oppa and he's smiling while wiping his tears. Maybe he remembered how I suffered a lot... I smiled and wiped my tears
"After that incident, Jeonghan proposed to me with the help of Joshua oppa. After 4 years of being together, he proposed and I said 'yes'.. But everything messed up... again.... After the day, we announced that we're getting married, I found out that Jeonghan got Sunnie pregnant so I broke up with him and ended the wedding because I want him to focus on Sunnie and with their baby.. I don't want to take Jeonghan away from his future family so I broke up with him and told our CEO to reclaim the announcement but he said that it's not easy so I told them to just say that our page was hacked and someone posted it without our content and that's where they told people that our page was hacked and made another page.. After that incident, my anxiety went to depression so CEO announced that I'm taking a break. I flew to LA and Joshua's mom took cared of me.. Every week, Joshua flew from Korea to LA just to saw me and to check on me even though they had a promotions. I know fans wandered why Joshua didn't attend some of their stage promotions and interviews and it's because he's coming to LA just to check on me and I'm also sorry for that. 2028 when Dispatch announced that an anonymous person told them what really is happening. We still don't know who's that anonymous person but I'm sure he's close to us because he knows a lot. He didn't gave all of the informations though"
"2029 when Jeonghan and Sowon became a couple and I couldn't blame them. Jeonghan loved Sowon first even before I came to their lives. I actually didn't feel mad about them because they deserve to be happy and Sowon unnie is not involved here because she knew nothing. I stayed in LA for 4 years until I recovered from everything happened with the help of Joshua's mom. For the past 4 years I was there, I only realized that I love Joshua... 2030 when Joshua and I became a couple before I went back here. He's been there when I first came here, He's been there whenever I needed someone to lean on.. He's been there to support me and give me strength whenever I feel down. 2031 when we revealed that we're dating because I don't want to repeat the same mistake that we kept everything a secret. When I got back here, I want to explain everything but I'm afraid and the scars are still here and I'm sorry if It took me years before explaining everything. 2033 when Joshua proposed to me and 2034 when Jeonghan and Sowon unnie got married and 2035 when Joshua and I got married. I want to clear that Sowon unnie has nothing to do with it.. It's all Sunnie's fault because she's the one who started everything so I hope everything's clear now and stop harassing Jeonghan's family" I explained again and bowed but then, a reporter asked a question that I'm not sure if I can answer
"But Angel, where's Sunnie now?"
