I could faintly hear her chuckle at her own joke. Standing up I felt guilty about her mother dying. After my memory had come back I remembered how her mother wasn't able to escape the flood.

"I-I'm sorry. It's my fault that she died."

Looking at her she had a puzzled look on her face.

"It's true that she died but it wasn't your fault. Even if she's gone I'll always be able to meet her no matter what."

~Ah, she must mean her mother will always be in her memory and heart.~

There was still a feeling of guilt in me but people die and you have to keep moving on without them whether it's your fault or not.

Looking at the situation right now. Ava was sleeping from being exhausted while Isra was staring off to the distance.
