Chapter 63: Darkest City (2)

Ava grabs Sonar, keeping it in the palm of her hand. At the same time, she had her knife in the other hand.

"So what do we do now?" Ava says.

"I'm thinking."

One creature jumps right at the shield, bouncing off of it. When it did it had a small body.

~It doesn't seem like these creatures are that big. Skinny, gray, and…wait maybe~

I had realized that these creatures might have been those sneaky little mutants just like the ones in the city previously.

~These guys aren't that strong but with this many, they'll shred us to pieces.~

"Min I can't help if you don't tell me what to do."

"We have to hold on until Isra comes. I don't know what she'll do once she comes back but we'll get out." (I changed the previous chapter a little for those that read it before this update)

The only thing I could see were the eyes of these little mutants.
