Chapter 22: Day 27.1
"By any chance are you okay Demoness~♪" Neo.
Shut up.
As I sleep inside Rusdy's nest using my portable leather sleeping bed that Sol made me I'm once again greeted by this guy in my dream. As of now were floating high on the nightsky sitting on a chair facing each other with an elegant white table in the middle that has cookies and chocolate served still warm on the table.
"I'm sorry? Isn't that what that Skeleton calls you~♪" Neo.
Oh just shut up about that already! and what do you mean by me being okay?
"Well I heard that my maid's visit to your dream that I ordered came with a bit of a surprise visitor" Neo.
Do you mean that huge red leviathan thing?
"Indeed, so how have you been feeling ever since meeting it?" Neo.
I don't really feel anything different, am I suppose to?
"Hm, that's very surprising..." Neo.
What do you mean?
"Oh nothing, I'm just surprised that you didn't feel Terror, Agony, Anguish, and the sort" Neo.
Am I actually suppose to feel things like that after encountering it!?
"Well I suppose not. Maybe that leviathan wasn't as close enough to you to make you feel those sensations" Neo.
Any closer than last time I'll be dead! Even at that close to him I can feel like I was going to melt! And you're telling that's not even close enough for it!?
"Well I suppose if you were to be a 100 meter closer then your flesh should start to melt from you body. And if you were to be eaten by it you would also lose your mind because of the eternal torment that it is causing to both your body and soul" Neo.
C-can we talk about something else other than me being tormented?
"Alright, lets get straight to the point of me coming here then shall we?" Neo.
Ok.
"The so called heroes that have just been summoned not a while ago have 2 objectives they have to achieve in this world. If they do not try to complete those 2 objectives they will be sentence as traitors plotting against the kingdom, then again the king would still sentence them as traitors after completing the 2 so nothing will change whichever path they choose to walk in"
"Their first objective is to defeat the Demon King that has been bringing prosperity to the Demon Kingdom for 20 years now, and their second objective is to defeat the being name Turi" Neo.
I get why they are trying to beat the Demon King and all since its the role and what the heroes must do in a fantasy world but beating something that's able to subdue 7 of the 24 Beast is just a suicide objective if I ever heard one, moreover those 7 can kill gods anytime they want on their own.
"I see you know who Turi is. And yes it is a suicidal objective if I say so myself. Unfortunately these heroes do not know what they are getting into. However that is also a good side of things in your end" Neo.
What do you mean by good?
"If the heroes were to be utterly defeated by either the Demon King or Turi you shall not have to worry about them" Neo.
Although I want them dead I don't want to let them off that easy.
"Oh ho? So what you are telling me is?" Neo.
They are mine and mine only. I'll be the one and only one to kill no torture them until they know the true meaning of agony, I want them to suffer.
"Intresting, keep that way of thinking a bit more longer and you shall get the [Greedy] title. So shall I continue?" Neo.
I don't want that title, but yes you can continue.
"As of now they are being let roam free throughout the world to increase their level and acquire skills. However this time they are not allowed to go into the Devil's Labryinth just yet. Apparently the previous hero that you had killed a few weeks ago caused a major panic within the Human Kingdom. Because of that now the Labryinth is guarded by soldiers and the only people able to enter it as of now are Adventureres"
"And what's more is now Adventureres will frequently enter the Labryinth in search of the creature that killed the previous hero in order to gain wealth and fame So you descending deeper instead of up the Labryinth is a very good choice" Neo.
But still doesn't that mean more and more Adventureres are entering this place in search of me?
"Well yes, but actually no. They do not have information of the monster that had killed the hero so They will kill anything around the 13th floor. Oh, and your skeleton friend will perhaps be okay since he now has around eighty undead or so under his command" Neo.
Yeah undead that are very and I mean very easy to kill! If most of them were haunts and wendigoes then that's okay, however what he's controlling is a bunch goblin zombies and weak undead that only need me to cast flash to burn them all to ashes!!
"You are correct but not very correct. You're now a monster of the [F- Rank] hierarchy. Monsters of that rank can bring down villages, Burning those undead to ashes is already a good example of that power"
Oh right, I forgot there's a Rank hierarchy in this world, I guess I underestimated the undead there a bit too much.
"If you are to be known by the Adventurer guild you will surely be mark as an emergency extermination quest, and that is not to mention you being intelligent" Neo.
He then takes a cookie and dips it into his cup of chocolate milk.
"Oh and the humans can't exactly use the power of the system lady" Neo.
You mean the one that sometimes answers me and sometimes just being plain useless?
"Umu, you must be grateful to be able to access that library of knowledge. Most monsters do not know what it is and just ignores it. Monsters are born with the system's knowledge in order for them to survive in this harsh world while the humans on the other hands don't. In order to access the system humans must obtain the skill [Appraisal], however that only gives them around 20% of the knowledge the system offers" Neo.
He eats the cookie considering if he actually does have a mouth and the chocolate milk from the cup begin to float gently into his hood where I presume is going to his mouth.
I see, Fine I guess I'll forgive the system lady. By the way before you disappear can you give me an advice?
"Umu? About what exactly?" Neo.
Since you know I'm going down to the 17th floor and below, can you tell me what should I do in order to fight the hordes of wraiths in there?
"I do not think you really need my help there Demoness. You already have the skills to make yourself invincible against them. Something that's very divine" Neo.
I'm ok with Sol calling me that however you're an exception! and what do you mean by-
"Ah, It seems our time is up! so see you next time, Good Bye!" Neo.
He then dissapears infront of me and the table and chairs also disappears making me fall down from the nightsky and onto the ground beneath me. My vision went blank as I crash onto the ground.

I wake up with sweat covering my whole body as always everytime I got a dreamvisit from him. Haaaa... I hate that guy sometimes.
[You alright?] Rusdy.
Infront of me rusdy is roasting one those fish that swims in snow. His antennas were a bit down showing that he's worried about me.
[Yeah, just a dream]
[Dreams are already very rare amongst monster and still you dream as if they're normal, I really don't get you sometimes] Rusdy.
He then offers me one of the roast fishes using his mandibles. I take the fish and I begin to munch down on it. The fish still gives me the taste and memory of the cooked fish I kept stealing from the Goblin trio when I was still small in the 13th floor making me feel very nostalgic.
Although I killed the goblin trio since they tried to kill me I miss them. If it wasn't for them I probably had already starved to death a while ago. I wonder, where does a monster go when they die?
[Hey, you alright?] Rusdy.
[Yeah, what's wrong?]
[Well your mind soothing feeling suddenly turn soggy so I thought something's wrong] Rusdy.
I know its for the sake of communication and all but isn't that like an invasion of privacy!!
[I-i see, by the way where do I go in order to get to the 17th floor?]
[You sure you're ready?] Rusdy.
[I'm pretty sure I am. Though even if I'm not ready I can just go back up here]
He then stayed silent with his antennas moving around and sometimes scrubbing each other which I presume is him thinking. His antennas then stop and both of them went up.
[*Sigh* I guess you do have a point] Rusdy.
[So.... Will you take me there?]
[I'll take you there, But lets finish eating first] Rusdy.
