Chapter 102: Road Trip

Examining our surroundings, I see that we're on the highway. Behind us I can see the cityscape of vegas slowly growing smaller and smaller. 

"Are they really gone?"

"Yes, it looks like anyone who was tailing us is now gone."

"Oh thank goodness. I don't know how you deal with all of this craziness."

"I have to remember that it has to be carefully balanced. The press is both the best friend and the worst enemy of a star all wrapped up in one. Some of them will cross any and every line they can just to get a scoop or a secret. At the same time they keep us relevant and make sure people remember our name."

"And now this is my world …"

"And now this is your world."

"But for how long?"

"I don't know. Could be a few months, a few years. Hell, it could even be a lifetime."

"Oh God, I hope not."

"Would it be that bad?"
