Chapter 3: ...
Lenard and I just looked at each other in awe of the fact that Penelope has decided to try and get me, as if the first time wasn't enough. Though that feeling lasted like two seconds for me, as I was looking at Lenard I couldn't help but notice the fact that his eyes were like an ocean blue, and I was just sailing on them, just before the storm comes.
"Hey Tim, you ok there?" He asks.
"Oh, yeh i'm as good as I can be right now." I smile. Then the door swings open, this time a doctor walked in the room, my god what is it with all the visitors today like seriously?!
"I'm assuming your Tim?" He asked, looking at me, I nodded, then he looked at Lenard, "For privacy purposes I'm going to have to ask you to leave unless your related to the patient, only while I'm speaking with him ok?" I was about to protest, but then Lenard nodded and whispered to me "It's fine I'll wait outside, might just talk to the guards outside." He joked, he then walked out of the room and the doctor shut the door behind him, "Your x-ray results have come back, and it appears that your stomach is slowly bleeding and your spine is slightly cracked at one side, no major damage on the spine but we'll need to operate on the stomach as soon as possible, your 13 right?" I nod slowly as tears start to well up in my eyes, "Do you have an adult that could give consent to your sugary? Your parents anyone like that?" I just shake my head and point to the door, "The only person to give a damn about me at this point is Lenard but... he's 14. My parents frankly don't give a damn or they would be here right now!" I yell as tears stream down my face once again, he was about to say something as I cut him off, "The nurse t-t-ried and failed to get my parents to come h-h-here you can ask h-h-her yourself." He only nodded, guess my point got across, "Do you mind if we call your school then?" I shake my head "Go ahead." He rose and left the room as my tears wouldn't stop running down my face, I was a mess, god I am alone in this world aren't I, my parents aren't here and I don't exactly see any relatives rushing to my aid so I might as well leave this world. Right as my thoughts were ranting in my head Lenard kinda fell through the door as the police guards blocked the door. "That man is a maniac!" He muttered as he brushed himself off and noticed me crying again, "What happened?" I just wiped the river of tears away as more started to fall, "He s-s-said my s-s-spine is slighyly c-c-c-cracked but the bigger concern is my stomach it's slowly b-b-bleed-" I was cut off by the door flying open, "LET ME IN! TIMOTHY" screamed from the door. Why do I recognise that voice, Lenard immediately jumped in front of me "Listen stay away from him, who the hell do you think you are?" Lenard boomed, then I saw her face, no it couldn't be, I thought he died? "Cause I'm his cousin Mark."
The police then backed off and let him into the room as he sprinted towards me hugging me, I haven't seen him in years. My tears quickly returned, "My god, where have you been all these years?!" He spurted. I hugged him as tightly as possible, "I only heard you were in hospital when I went to your Mum and Dad's house and they told me, I'm glad I found you!" He said with tears also rolling down his face. "Y-y-you were looking f-f-f-for me?" I asked, "My parents told me you died last year!" He then started to laugh "Me? Die? Never remember my old motto?" He said, "You bet I do."
Then we both said "Never surrender, never die, we will always reunite!" in unison, it feels good to finally say that again. "So where have you been all this time, your certainly not at your house any more." He said
"Yeh mum and dad kicked me out when they found out I was gay and then..." I explained everything about how I was in the house on my own.
"Damn that's rough." He turns to Lenard, "Sorry I don't think I introduced myself, I'm Mark, Tim's cousin, known him since he was 5." He stuck his hand out to shake hands with Lenard.
"Hi, um I'm Lenard, Tim's friend." Lenard stuttered.
"Oh and sorry about bumping into you in the hall, I was in a bit of a rush." Mark smiled.
"No problem, I would've done the same if I wasn't here with him right now." They both smiled at each other.
"So, Tim, how'd you end up in here then? And what's with the guards?" Both me and Lenard looked at each other and then the floor, "Come on you have to tell me!" He insisted.
"I-It was Penelope." Lenard muttered, "She first pushed Tim into the school gates then Tatiana tried to hit me and Tim jumped in front of her to save me, then he passed out." Lenard was in tears, "He did it... for me..." Mark's face turned into horror, "The guards are there cause she's out there somewhere and threatened to come here and do more damage to Tim, she won't stop till he's dead." The room was silent, me and Lenard were in tears and Mark's face turned from horror to rage.
"That phyco isn't coming anywhere near him on my watch-" Then the phone rang once again and Mark went over to get it, "Hello... yes this is his room... who might this be... right you listen here you precious little bitch I don't care who you think you are but you are not gonna do this and then speak to him again...yeh I'm his cousin and your out of your league if you think you can fight me little one I'm 24 and I could put you 6 feet under..." I signal Mark to give me the phone, "Your just lucky that he's willing to talk to you after all of this! " He then gives me the phone.
"H-Hello?" I whisper.
"Your cousin sounds interesting mutt. Anyways you will die once I'm through with you, and I will enjoy ripping you apart bit by bit once the heat dies down and the police stop looking for me. Just be weary that I will still turn up and get you at some point." She shouts.
"I-I know" I say defeated. Then Lenard wants to speak to her and I hand him the phone.
"You think your right tough don't ya... Don't you Lenard me ! You are the one who just decided that he didn't give you the sweets you wanted-" Then as all the thought of Penelope killing me set in, my vision started to go blurry. "Are you ok buddy?" Mark asks while Lenard's arguing with Penelope I nod. "You like him don't you?" he whispers, I just blush, "I could tell from a mile away, anyways I think you two would be a good match, and he seems like a keeper." Mark just smiles as my blush just gets more red by the minute. Then we heard Lenard scream "Just because we went out once doesn't mean that we haven't split up and I've told you I'm gay bitch." Well that's one question answered. "Mark? Could you do me a favour and tell the doctor that you give consent to get my surgery done." He nods, " I'm going to go to sleep now, you tell Lenard that i'm fine."
"I will don't you worry about it." He says, as I close my eyes to go to sleep.
Le time skip (Around 15 minutes or so)
As I open my eyes I see that the doctor has came back into the room. "Oh good your awake, I'm just letting you know that your cousin has given consent to go ahead with your surgery and we'll begin in around half an hour." He says, he sounds relived this time. "Thank you." I say. He then leaves the room, I look around and see Lenard entering the room, Mark must've gone to get food or something. "Hey L-Lenard?"
"Yeh?" He says
"umm- I don't know how to say this..." I sputter.
"It's ok you can just say it." He says, dang why did he have to be so cute!
"Ok... ummm... would you go out with-" I was cut off with a kiss on my lips, I kissed him back, then he pulled back a little bit.
"Of course I will." We started to kiss again as Mark came back into the room.
"Well that didn't take as long as I thought hehe." He giggled." So you two together then?"
We both said "Yes!" in unison, this didn't turn out too badly. For the rest of the time we just all talked as the half an hour went by.
The doctor then walks back in, "It's time Timothy." He said as he was putting the sleepy injection into me. "Count backwards from 100" He says.
"100, 99, 98, 9 7, 9 6" Then my eyes shut again as my surgery began.
