Chapter 8: ...as if the picture was their life.
Early in the morning, when the dawn was breaking the darkness of the night, Maestro got up and made a fresh coffee for him and his Lady. Bringing the coffee to the balcony where The Autumn Lady was sitting and admiring the song of mocking birds, he sat next to her and reached the coffee to her.
- It's a nice morning, isn't it? - started the Autumn Lady.
- Yes, it definitly is. The weather is going to be nice, I suppose.
- I hope so. When are you leaving?
- In ten minutes, and you?
- At half past ten. I'll be back early today, there is not much to do.
- Yes, me too. I'll be home by five, we will have time to find some common hobby.
- Hmm, interesting... for example?
- I don't know, but it should be something apart music.
- What about drawing?
Maestro laughed
- That's not the good one. I don't even know how to hold the brush.
- Oh, that's a pity...ok, what will you suggest?
- I will think of something, I promise. Now, it's time to leave. See you.
And he gave a sweet good-bye kiss to the Autumn Lady.
- Have a nice day, Maestro.
And she continued to admire the smell of hot Arabica and the morning breeze.
In the evening she was preparing dinner the door opened and Maestro was back from work. She went to welcome him and noticed a colourful pouch in his hand.
- What is it?
- Our new hobby - smiled Maestro.
She impatiently took out what was inside and discovered that Maestro bought a puzzle.
- Oh my god, that's genius. It's great idea, Maestro.
- Well, I promised I won't let you down.
They rushed to the hall, opened it and went on collecting it. Hours passed but they didn't get tired, they even forgot about the dinner. Picking up the small pieces they were putting them together little by little creating a beautiful picture, as if the picture was their life and the pieces of the puzzle needed actions to create it. And so they carefully took these pieces and stockpiled, painting a happy life.
